@@phantom9831 So I'm pretty good at throwing cause that joke flew WAY over your head. It wasn't implied it was random in my statement, I'm insinuating that the hero player didnt know about the more intricate details of reflectors in this game and that he did it for the lulz (he was also up a stock, so even if it did somehow backfire, he wouldn't be too punished). This also fits in with the common Hero Player mentality stereotype where they love gambling as they love to top deck spells, leading to some hilarious yeet smash clips, like them Kamikazing or Hocus Pocusing into a crazy effect.

I remember doing that back before volume 2 of the fighter's pass was announced. It was hilarious not only doing a lot of damage and killing easily but also destroy shields. If you somehow live you by somehow not getting launched you still get a ton of damage.

@@airam1721 roll into ledge, SDI the aura sphere charge off stage. Lucario can't really afford to chase Peach in that situation, and while it's a pretty bad spot, it's not instant death.

@@airam1721 if executed properly, what I described would have Peach offstage and below ledge height be the time Lucario could b-reverse and throw it (if you jump cancel the charge and immediately b-reverse throw after reacting to Peach's roll). But the most common response would be trying to follow up with Bair, which misses if you SDI properly in this scenario and drift away after the charge is cancelled.

@@charlinwillis5577 Well, either he was going to shield it and counter attack (though I'm fairly sure that move breaks anything but a completely full shield, it's super risky) or he was going to try and parry it. Either way, he had considerably more safer options available to him since the move has a lot of endlag that can be exploited.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons hero has a good MU against snake : the grenade hurtbox is vulnerable to side B lightning bolt. (Without grenade the lightning does not strike shielding opponents)

Whenever a fighter's shield breaks in Smash, they become stunned for a few seconds, unable to do anything, making them open targets. Players can wiggle the Control Stick to reduce the amount of time they are stunned, but the more damage they have, the longer they're stunned. If Jigglypuff's shield is broken, it's an instant KO, as she is launched upwards to the blast zone (unless there's a ceiling in the way).

@@sonicstar917 Quick correction: shieldbreak stun actually lasts for a _shorter_ time at higher percentages. Yes, it acts the opposite from most similar effects like grabs and buries.

@@sonicstar917 pretty sure the duration of shield break decreases at high damage, or at least the ability to mash out becomes easier at high damage, but I couldn't look it up right now , the English smash wikis are useless
