Hey guys, KangasKid18 here and today I'm back with an absolutely EPIC Shiny Hunt - I found 17 total Shiny Pokemon while I was hunting for ONE SHINY FARIGIRAF. And here's the crazier thing -- I FINALLY GOT IT!!! Check out the whole vid, this one was very fun to edit! Total quantities below:
9x Shiny Girafarig
4x Shiny Braviary
1x Shiny Phanpy
1x Shiny Chansey
1x Shiny Garganacl
... and of course 1 SHINY FARIGIRAF!!!

Great video Kangas! Sitting here at work when I saw the tweet about it so I decided to watch. Do you do those "bonus rounds" on your videos often or was that the first time? Loved it in any case. Especially enjoyed the in-depth discussion on tofu!

I only found only one shiny Chansey in Let's Go while shiny hunting something else but failed it cause it ran.

Yeah, the game seems to like trowing the odd random shiny in despite the sandwich you have up. Had shiny Maschif show up randomly on an Electric sandwich (hunting for Flaffy) and a Ground type sandwich (hunting for Phanphy.) Had a Chancey show up on a Poison type sandwich (Hunting for Stunky.) Had a Finizen show up on a Poison type sandwich (looking for Mareanie.) Had a Psyduck and a Flittle show up with a Flying type sandwich (looking for Rufflet.) Had two different Fleginder show up whith a Dark type sandwich recipe (looking for Murkrow.) Shiny hunting is a box of chocolates!

Geez man. That's way to many phases for one hunt. Crazy that so many non boosted shinies showed up. At least the hunt is over, congrats!

Why impose such strict rules on yourself for shiny hunting? So many girafarig that you could have just evolved. I just don't understand, it not like evolving makes the shiny non legit and this seems like a big waste of time.

Sometimes its about the specific hunt. In other words this is his job and he is passionate about it

It's just more fun for me this way. Plus I need a bit of a challenge - shiny hunting in SV is so easy that I'd be done with the Shiny Dex in like 2 weeks without self-imposed rules like this.
