Je n'ai jamais trouvé un sport qui me plaisait j'avais tout essayé mais aucun ne me faisait vraiment plaisir. Honnêtement je désespérais et un jour je me suis dit "et si j'essayais un art martial?' j'ai choisi le taekwondo et je me suis jamais autant amusée, je progresse car j'aime ce sport. Je suis assez douée sans me vanter alors qu'au début j'étais apparemment "nulle en sport" (ce qui en vrai n'existe pas). Bref tout ça pour dire que je trouve moi aussi que c'est le meilleur sport, ou disons l'un des meilleurs, car le karaté est pas mal,, le tkd améliore tout le corps (bras aussi) et c'est grave bien :).

Kewl Dude Potato Lover try looking for a WTF taekwondo school in your area, WTF is less fighting oriented but it's as good as ITF and if you do Muay thai WTF will be a good change up for you

ITF TKD and WTF TKD are both TKD.... I don't see the issue. They sometimes teach different forms/poomsae/patterns (same thing) but the techniques are the exact same, with ITF generally putting less emphasis on teaching EXACT technique, as in for poomsae competition, which doesn't matter as long as the techniques are still taught in a generally correct way as to maintain practicality. Most of the belt factory schools labeled as "WTF Schools", as they are on paper, but in reality are just scams and daycare centers. As long as the master and instructors at a school know what they are talking about, ITF and WTF don't matter. (SIDE NOTE: Sparring competition rules are different for both. WTFs is constantly changing their rules and ITF is not as competition oriented)

XpertShockGamer the flips and stuff are for demonstrations, it's common in taekwondo for a dojo to have a demonstration team but it's not all they do, if you actually watch two black belts go at it in a sparring match, it's scary, don't make a comment if you're not educated on the subject :)

XpertShockGamer oooo big tough guy, yeah I honestly don't care but 10/10 times a martial art beats just straight street fighting unless you actually know how to fight, Idc how big strong or fast you are its all about technique if you don't have that then you are out of luck

Super terrific R True. I have a black belt in WTF Tae Kwon Do and we didn't need to do any flips or jumps. I recognized the choreographed routines, those were legit, and we do need to break the wood in exams but it doesn't have to be that fancy. They also didn't show any fighting in the video, which is a big part of the martial art

Jeremy T well Olympic is bullshit then. And no way you would need to use any of those moves in a street fight. Do you see any Mma fighter using them?

Jeremy T no one is doing any of these kicks in a Bar lmao. In a bar is real close up with very little room for moves. You might get off a front kick, brut the best bet is to grab chairs and bottles. In a "street fight" most turn into wrestling matches real quick like mma.

The point isn't whether you knocked anyone out the point is those moves are not taekwondo moves. The are flash bullshit. In Okinawa Japan, a 86 year old master defeated the current champion and believe me he do 720 flying kicks or jump 8 feet in the air to win. No matter what fighting style you do fighting is about controlling the energy of the fight in the most efficient way.
