Insane Times People Woke Up At Their Own Funeral

This is why, when my time comes, which I'm hoping won't be until at least 60+ more years from now, I want somebody to MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE that I'm dead, like maybe pick my hand with a needle, and, also, requesting -specifically -to be cremated. (Also as a way to prevent corpse desecration). Being buried alive is actually a common fear. In fact, back over 200 years ago, this is the reason why they made coffins with bells inside of them.

You're not putting your life in the hands of a bell and string when you are dead. These are ignorant tales of folklore, and some people are still ignorant to this day actually constructing such an idiotic mechanism, when even a child can understand that the supposed corpse would have long died of asphyxiation.

Cuz hypotermia is a thing, and sometimes in toxic shocks people have hypotermia rather than a fever. EEG and EKG is the best way to determine if someone is dead. Some countries requiere EKG to announce a person deceased.

Do not fear it is only like going too sleep...And live each day as if it were your last!

He might come back when it's all said and done. Though I am saddened that he left I can respect it, he could of lived on easy street pumping out videos but he wanted to do what he wanted to do with his life.

@@EbrahimSaadawii hi curious dentist, sure. It’s a super long story but enjoy! My wisdom teeth are too big for my gums so when they start coming through I have to have that one removed otherwise I can’t physically open my mouth, by this time this was my third one that needed out, I was a private patient at this dentist, I had already had an infected gum with that wisdom tooth and I had taken 2 weeks of antibiotics from the dental hospital, so by the time I went back to dentist she took an X-ray and said it wasn’t infected anymore so she could remove my tooth, by night time I wasn’t feeling well at all I couldn’t breathe properly so I called 111 and they called an ambulance, I saw 2 male paramedics and they told me to wait and they would be right back, however I passed out and I was awoken by my phone ringing it had been 2 hrs since seeing the paramedics they left me! The doctor on the phone was from a hospital and expected me to drive to him! I was like no I can’t drive so he organised hospital transport for me, I must of passed out again because I was awoken by my phone again and it had been 2hrs since I spoke to the doctor, it was the transport, by this time I was being physically sick and it was brown! (Sorry yucky details) I saw the doctor he said I had the flu! I knew it wasn’t that but he sent me home with anti sickness and paracetamol, the next day I was severely poorly, I couldn’t breathe properly again so my husband called my gp, she saw me and told me I needed hospital treatment straight away! Paramedics turned up two females, they knew the first lot of paramedics that saw me I lived in Scotland and where I lived not too many ambulances were called so they all knew, anyway they let me down because it turns out I had a abscess in my neck just below my jaw I looked like a turkey! I had to go into surgery that night for a drainage, I ended up having pneumonia whilst in hospital and I was so poorly I had lines all over my body pumping me with all kinds of medication! I wasn’t getting any better I couldn’t breathe again but severely now, I had to have a tracheotomy, turns out the pneumonia was from Afghan pneumonia, I’m a British army veteran and served time in Afghan apparently it can lay dormant in your body but it takes once you are ill it will come and take over! I was in hospital for 2 weeks! Most of it I was in medication coma so I don’t remember much just the bad memories. The dentist got kicked out and got put on the register for negligence, so did the paramedics and the doctor, also the doctor that saw me at the hospital was one of the local gps that work in the doctor office I belong too! I was let down by a lot of other professionals who should have helped me but didn’t!

@@Elloguys390 yup, if it hadn’t happened to me I would of never believed it would happen to anyone! I have since been to a dentist multiple times but it took me 10 years to go to one, my mum hasn’t been to one for 11yrs because of what happened to me, however if you have a brilliant dentist it so makes a difference. We are currently posted here in Germany Bavaria and my dentist is just fantastic really listens to me, I’m gonna struggle next year though as we get posted back to the uk! I hope my new dentist will be nice?

I agree and discovered when my late dad passed. The body gets cold, stiff and hard. How can they not know that?

For embalming you don't really take them "out" but you do put cavity fluid in

They examine you, wire your open jaw shut, cap the creepy eyes, and insert a sharp pointy thing into your body cavities in order to fill them so they don't look sunken in. Then, for those not cremated, they use the examination info to cover up anything blemishing the skin and slap moisturizer on their face before slipping their gurney in cold storage. I'm noticing a theme of particular countries and religious beliefs, its not impossible they do or did things we don't do in the West. I mean, they got Buddhist monks to chant at the funerals so who knows? Another thing is the way blood works when you die - you don't bleed like you'd think a few hours after death, your blood essentially goes cold and thickens. So, anyone making incisions and noticing bright red blood would immediately know something is up. But the bit about the infamous inaccuracy of claiming someone has passed? Yeah, that was a thing to the point they'd often put a rope with a bell for the "deceased" to ring if alive. Basically, not everyone embalms everywhere for religious and monetary purposes. Pretty sure Muslims and maybe Jews consider it flat out desecration and opt for nature to take its course. Fun fact, caskets are generally made to hasten decomp by making it easier for insects and animals to get into the coffin.
