These aren’t cheap levels UNLESS it costs you more than $1 per 100xp $1USD = 100 points 100 points = 100 xp one lvl 1 badge = 100xp one lvl 1 badge = ~.20 - .30cents
It's also easy to get a lot of point's if you just play a game in wich you have a lot of achievemnts unlocked for 30 minutes. You can play through an achievement game like ZUP! in under 30 minutes and get 8000 or more points for it, and ZUP! is €0.59 compared to the €9.09 for Starbound
@@mongo9474 That is true, but this way you can spend the money on games you want to play and not only for an "exploit" ... it's not a problem if you want Starbound anyways. The "exploit" is about getting the points though, and the achievement method is easier and cheaper, you don't even need to buy a game for it, just leave a game you have a lot of achievements in running for 30 minutes and you probably have all the points you ever need.
There's no need for that. Scroll all the way down on the Summer Sale Quest page and you'll come across 'Play and Game with Steam Achievments' with the description "Play any game for 30 minutes or more during the Grand Prix event to earn points for your achievements." Click on the little star next to the points and you can use those points.
I want to increase my limit points, I had 50000/50000 max So every day it increase only 100 points, I think now I have 50300 ...I really need to know "how to increase fast"... check this account, I think it has tricks steamcommunity.com/id/ifierycool1
Getting points to spend is easy, the problem with this however is that the max point cap limits the use of points and is usually quite low unless you have spent or will spend a lot of money on steam.
I think the main problem is the fact that you have a limit on how many points you can spend. That limit was about 57000 points for me and now I only get 100 points a day but I still got from level 102 to 146
Really, 2 days after everyone figured out that this method is pretty much useless since ur capped to max points u release this one and think it's hot shit smh
1stTime (Yes I'm Global) I get what you mean but it’s better than buying from bots and buying from the market even the cheapest badges it saves time and money
if you don't have the game, buy one of the zup games or blonde driver blonde driver is my personal fav(49 cents) because you just run it and it started unlocking achievements. says i earned 5571 points from it
TO be honest as an Achivement collector i wanted to say that I've got like more than 300 K of points but i couldn't use them all because of the limited ammount of max points which mine are nearly 6 K so yeah
i have 16K points from Left 4 Dead 2, good game, cheap, fun, no zombie harmed, but i just have 3.5K max points haha seriously, if u just have a little max points , i recommended just play game u have , hunt for achievement its enough. except if u have money to spend more to increase your max points.
I have over 100k points from achievements but can only boost 5k total. As soon as I realised I refunded starbound the shitty game that it is IMMEDIATLY. Dont buy that piece of shit.
No no no. Please dont buy Starbound to boost your points, as you get FREE points instantly from PAST PLAYED GAMES that has archivements. Aka i ran Fallout Shelter for 30 mins and got 9000-ish points instantly. Of cause ive put a lot of time into that game, but im sure that you all have a bunch of old game like Left4dead, Skyrim, etc that you have already played, just load them up for 30 mins Like if you already have 50 games in your steam account you probably has 50*4000 = 200.000 free points just sitting there. No, the hard part isnt getting point, no need buying games to get points .. the hard part is to boost the point LIMIT as that is only done by spending real cash on buying games (etc.). Also slight warning nr. 2: once you get to around steam lvl 70 you boosting really slows down. Better be smart and save your cash for something you really want & not just to boost some artificial level. Oh, & IF you are in that odd particular situation that you have ZERO past played games in your account (aka if its a brand new account) then you can use Starbound or Stardew Valley with mods to get points or if your are particular lazy you can play the XP bot like Two Point Hospital as once you have played past the first hour of the first/tutorial you can just keep the game/map open & get about 700-1000xp an hour in cured patients. Of cause you do need to keep an eye on the game from time to time as the "yearly review" pauses the game etc.
