@@StormC9101 I thought just the normal key card was good enough. It's like. Nobody will break into your room because people know not to do that. So a key card reader in an elevator is just dumb.
They’re not necessarily fast for 70 stories but they are extremely fast in general, I mean, they go 1200 fpm. Personally, I don’t think they could have them go much faster because I have a feeling if they were any faster than they are then that’d probably be too much for most passengers.
@@StormC9101 that is true but hotels are normally good at making elevators go the speed necessary & it is often at hotels where you find insane speeds for the distance they travel. These should be going 1400 Fpm maximum & minimum.

These elevators since this video have been SMART-keyed which means even if you’re staying at the hotel, you can only access the floor your room is on, which is absolutely RIDICULOUS, but sadly thanks to all the stupid people out there, security measures for many hotels like this one have skyrocketed
