I believe the tomei meme came from Freshkiicks and Lowtek. Look up both those channels they each have awesome z's. Freshkiicks has a build single turbo 350z nismo 1 of 1613 in the world.
Yo adam if you see this.. get the motordyne XYZ pipe with the resonated mid section, its like 400 bucks, top of the line, that resonator completely kills any rasp and deepens the tone just slightly, you will 100% love it. And its a lot more free flowing than the stock Y pipe.
HECK. YES. So beyond stoked you're getting on the z train with the hommies and am madly in love with the wild time that tomei exhaust has. PUMPED TO SEE YOU PUMPED BROTHER ❤😁
Lol Adam talking about Big Boost feeling for stuff with his eyes closed. I do the same when I work on cars and reach in places I can't see. Wow crazy glad I'm not the only one who does that
The meme is really just a play on a really heavy Hispanic accent (Lowtek is Hispanic) and asking "Is that a Tomei dog?" Its funny in our parts because Lowtek/Freshkicks and the rest of Zociety are all SoCal residents where The Mexican/Hispanic population is very high due to being near the border. No real story from my knowledge.
Another Exhaust that has gotten more popular within the last 6 months for the 350z and g35 is the Z1 Motorsports M-Spec Single Exhaust. I have the exhaust on my 350Z with Z1 test pipes and Agency Power Resonated Y-Pipe. With that setup, my car can be heard up to 1.5 miles away. I have a few exhaust videos on my page.
Great sound, with a VQ35 you either go full trumpet- blast- mode or you just stay home :) I guess you cann add a resonator if it gets too annoying down the line :) If you guys drift with three VQs in tandem its gonna sound like a trumpet concert :)
jose diaz it does if you're a dealer and you're selling the car. The car has to have a cat regardless. Further more it will fail inspection if it has an aftermarket exhaust. I'm assuming the car is still in the dealers name. I live in tampa. I've been thru quite a few salvage inspections.
Mike Coolbaugh didnt know they took it that serious with dealers my car had to be inspected for the same reason and it had no cats. Thanks for the info though
It's not the registration that's the problem. You are correct in that aspect. Every salvage car in fl has to go thru a salvage inspection b4 it is issued a rebuilt title. They check for things like working seat belts and airbags, they verify vin numbers and such. You have to show proof of parts bought to repair the car. In most cases the car should be stock for this. Things like coilovers and wheels will be ok. After you are issued your rebuilt title then install the catless exhaust
One of the few times I had someone else do work, cause I didn't have the tools. He put the exhaust manifolds on my 1965 Mercury 390 super Marauder Engine on backwards.
@@johnathanlopez4012 it came from Freshkiicks. If you've followed them both long enough you'll know that Lowtek had a agency power exhaust before he got a Tomei. Freshkiicks on the other hand, had a Tomei the whole time, and he says that phrase all the time.
Adam keep up the excellent work, also thank you for the awesome mercy....love the burgundy hoodie, the key land yards, and the stickers. Love the material on the hoodie and matches my snap back hats. Hopefully I'm in the drawing for the giveaway lol.
John Santana small world.... the Z1 exhaust use to be Momentum Performance exhaust. I was the director of manufacturing and quality at Momentum Performance. Glad you like it
Correct me if i'm wrong, but when the S15 is done, that will be your main/nice car, and the 350 will be your beater car. Surely that makes the S13 redundant? It will have no purpose other than being another car.
I know Adam loves the 240 but I have a feeling that he is gonna love how the z drives and how much seat time he is gonna get so much that he will eventually outgrow the 240. I know he loves it and it will always be his first drift car but I am predicting that he will love the z even more.
