So people started complaining about the way you played after only the first episode? if they did, don't listen to any negative comment. just enjoy the game.
Absolutely no worries, I am sure most of us want to see you experience and figure out combos etc on your own, if I wanted to watch someone make all the same moves I would make, I would just play the game myself haha
@@MasterSorez I love that you CAN beat such restrictions and still press on! ---Spoilers--- In fact, to platinum this game, you HAVE to learn to punch through many a bear....
I absolutely adore how you're quickly getting into this. You had a rough start but you're adapting very fast. Then again the beginning is meant to screw you over to teach you rules.
Solid episode. You're still working on the foundation and general literacy of the game. Any Inscryption Vet could see the obvious misplays, or rather non meta plays. However everything you do has made sense to try, and you should try. It's a sandbox. Do whatever you want with your cards and deck. It's good not to meta abuse the fun out of the game. I'm a little sad I wasn't that good of a card, but you did get some use out of me. Unlike Joy. Joy? More like sad. Just remember who was there for you when you needed them most.
You're doing great! I know it feels like an uphill battle, but you're on the right track. Inscryption rewards you for climbing that learning curve. So hang in, keep going and never stop trying to figure out the puzzles around you.
Don't worry about the rough start, it's part of every journey. Also, putting the bone king sigil on the black goat was actually such a smart move that I'm upset I never thought about it while playing myself. That was a great play! EDIT: Mole man is best boy.
I honestly hope the comments aren't giving you too much grief. You're certainly doing better than I was by this point. I was stuck on the Prospector FOREVER. So don't be disheartened! You're progressing up the learning curve at a great pace and I can already tell you have the type of mind to master this game fairly quickly. I hope you continue to enjoy the game!
I love watching people learn this game. No one understands everything right at the start. Sure, it starts simple but the small advances to intermediate and 'a total pro' are so cool to see. It took me... *a lot* of time to solve a certain puzzle, and that allowed me more time on the board to learn how to win encounters. And how to build a deck, as I had never played card games like this. So once I looked up how to actually progress, it was actually quite funny. I love the atmosphere as well, the music and sir dm work so well with the themes.
this game has a lot of secrets and hidden interactions with cards under certain circumstances that is doesn't tell you about, some secrets even help you in battles if you find them. most of the special interactions are from the rare cards
I love these early stages of Inscryption where you think of all kinds of fun and interesting combinations. If I was playing (I've beaten the game three times) I'd slap Cockroache's effect on Stinkbug and call it a day. An immortal two bone card with 3 attack and stench. Easy game.
I was right about the pliers… ouch! I just watched your first episode and after realizing the weights were teeth came the horrified thought of what ‘momentary pain’ must mean 😮
I bought the game today after your first episode and played it a ton before watching this one so i can be ahead without any potential big spoilers. Very interesting game so far. I believe in you Mapo!
When you died a few times I finally understood why you couldn't start a new game but only could click continue: you're always the next person after the last person has died
I know this is only two videos in, but so far, i feel like this is the only playthrough I'm not screaming internally with each turn. Only about 1/4 turns. 😂 Edit: when he mentioned the stoat and stink bug looked different i threw my hands in the air. Nobody ever notices the stoats first transformation lol
You claim this episode was awful, but truly, you're simply starting to get the hang of it. These "mistakes" you made are exactly what you need to be doing at this point: experimenting with new cards and learning potential combos. It means you'll die often (sometimes quickly), but that's the price to pay. You've probably noticed by now, but this game is designed to f**k with your brain any chance it gets, so be sure there will be more of that! Stay curious and playful, you're doing great.
I feel like you were talking yourself down, most of your trouble up until this point were not from playing badly, but from missynderstanding flying enemies as immortal 😅
at one point you had an opportunity to give the ant queen's generation ability to a worker ant. That combination completely breaks the game because ants dont require sacrifice and every time you play one it generates another one in your hand. And since they make each other strong you would essentially get four ants with no cost to play them at four attack each. Unstoppable.
Yo Mapo, quick tip for ya. Keep an eye for sacrificial altars and interesting sigils. With the right combination you can easily make a card that's an instant free win. Also, keep your deck relatively small. If your cards are all high quality there's no need for more. Around 8 should be good for a deck with said game breaking combos. Also, PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION for a certain card that might show up, the Oroboros. Best card BY FAR.
@@resonant_logic7542doubt he'd figure it out on his own. Simply because he already clicked onto the candle itself and made no further attempts to try it again. It's called "false learning", I believe.
@@konstantin3001 he’s tried clicking everything in the room multiple times, including the candles. He’ll figure it out eventually. And even if he doesn’t, he makes it pretty clear in every series I’ve watched that he’d prefer not finding out at all over learning it from the comment section.
Please do not spoil mechanics or means of progression. This is a blind playthrough, which means absolutely no outside "help" or knowledge. All misplays are learning opportunities, and all stories are better experienced than spoiled.
Yes, he made more misplays and misclicks than anyone in history, but I still enjoyed it 😁 He did a good job exploring averything, using his patreon's names for the cards was a nice gesture and towards the end he got a lot better 👍🤌
