I’m glad there won’t be. Inscryption is more of a Daniel Mullins game than a card game, and it’s cool to see him tackle a different genre with each game he releases.
Yo albino, Atheon here Quick tip for act 1 You want to throw every time you get to the end, because it rewards you for doing so. After you get a broken as shit card progress to act 2
I remember i played this game’s early alpha where the dev thought it’d end up a horror game so you ended up eating your child or getting eaten. Also it was called “sacrifices must be made” back then
I was playing this last night, accidentally created the ultimate power deck by having the Unkillable totem for squirrels, and a zero cost 7/7 deathcard with flight that absolutely carried me
My week is finally looking up. Repentance out on console, and found a new game I like. Thanks for uploading and brightening my day after my hard breakup.
I like this developers games. Pony Island and the hex were both also interesting. I would expect this game to also "glitch" and change into something different.
heres hoping that he actually pays attention and enjoys the story elements and isn't one of those people who goes "anything that isn't act 1 is bad and shouldn't be in the game i want my money back"
I don't know how much more you've put into this game, but I would very much recommend taking another run or two or ten, beat him and solve the story stuff, it is quite worth it
33:06 you're guaranteed to always get the eye if you have died a certain number of times, or completed a certain number of runs without progressing the story
i managed to beat the boss first try with the power of a ringworm. i dont even know the point of the card, i just boosted the health and damage at every campsite i encountered and NEVER lost it. well, that and the use of a certain sigil that makes the last fight a walk in the park.
I've been subbed for a while now and every single video really is the highlight of my day. I love every video I see and you're simply an amazing and fun to watch creator :)
I just beat Act 1 I knew I had the god runwhen I got the totem "Worthy sacrifice" with squirrel, and had a 6/14 survivor card I had made. I knew that was it, and steam rolled the whole board. Really interesting game
@@Chronische I liked Act 2 as well, especially since I had literally no idea that the game was anything more than Act 1, but Ive noticed a lot of people stop playing at Act 2 because they think thats what the rest of the game is
@@ultimatexer6583 If that's what it was, I'd have been happy, honestly! My biggest complaint about that section is how short it is, tbh. Mixing the decks together (though at the cost of your side deck) made for some hilariously broken combos!
@@Chronische My complain is how stupidly underdeveloped everything after act 1 was. It's like the Robot literally made the most minimal fuckin game to *spoiler* in classic min-maxing strat, instead of actually finishing game to it's fullest. I'm still salty that we are stripped of Necromancy scribe, she seemed so chill....
@@mrShift_0044 Certainly, it's a breeze to blast through part 2 in less than an hour, and part 3 in not much longer than that. An ideal act 4 would be all 4 scrybes working together to make a totally sweet game that makes use of all their features!
Jeez, I never even realized some of the possible synergies until watching this. Search deck totem on squirrels totem along with Mantis God with the field mice ability singlehandedly won me the game so what do I know lol
I just wish this was a game you could play forever. Trust me, I've tried and it becomes painfully clear just how scripted everything is after a couple replays. Hope the devs release an endless version, the other two acts were sub par as well. Overall great game, but a little disappointing and not to mention falsely advertised.
