In this installation video, we show you how quickly and easily you can set up and install our insect screen for your door.

Tools needed: rubber mallet, rolling metre, pencil, scissors, cutter, saw, file, screwdriver, cutting tray, drill.
Step by step to the perfect insect screen:
00:12 Determine clearance width measurement B, by measuring the horizontal inner distance to the open door.
00:15 Determine clearance height measurement H, by measuring the vertical inner distance to the open door.
00:20 Calculate the measured width B minus 16 mm.
00:34 Calculate the measured width B minus 10 mm.
00:46 Calculate the measured width B minus 14 mm.
01:00 Calculate the measured height H minus 1041 mm.
01:15 Mark the elements with the calculated measurements.
01:52 Shorten the elements with a metal saw.
01:57 Deburr the cut surfaces with a file.
02:01 Slide the drill template onto the lower vertical profile.
02:06 Drill on both sides from the side through the drilling template into the profile.
02:14 Connect vertical profiles via the central connector.
02:29 Connect handle with central connector.
02:40 Slide two hinge part into profile from below.
02:46 Slide hinge part into profile from above.
02:51 Slide sealing brush into the outer groove of the upper cross profile.
02:57 Shorten sealing brush on both sides with an overhang of 30 mm from the upper cross profile.
03:12 Connect the upper cross profile to the upper vertical profile using the two corner connectors.
03:29 Slide the sealing brushes on both sides from bottom to top into the outer groove of profiles.
03:33 Shorten the sealing brushes.
03:38 Press a magnetic strip opposite the hinge side above into the profile.
03:45 Slide the sealing brushes on both sides from bottom to top into the outer groove of profiles.
03:55 Shorten the sealing brushes according to the profile lengths, taking into account the lower magnet.
04:03 Press the magnetic strip opposite the hinge side down into the profile.
04:12 Insert the spacers from below into the groove of the profile so that the upper hole corresponds to the hole in the profile.
04:17 Connect the two lower vertical profiles with the lower corner connectors.
04:25 Slide the sealing brush into the laterally open groove of the joint profile.
04:30 Cut the sealing brush on both sides with an overhang of 30 mm to bumper profile.
04:41 Screw the joint profile with screws.
04:50 Unroll the fabric over the frame and divide it along the centre profile with scissors.
05:00 Carefully fix the fabric to the frame using clamping strips.
05:05 Start at the upper cross profile, followed by
the upper vertical profiles and the handle.
05:14 Then start at the handle, followed by the lower vertical profiles including handle and the joint profile. Fix the handle with the clamping strip opposite the hinge side in the profile.
05:27 Use a cutter to shorten the excess fabric on the outside alongside the clamping strips.
05:31 Position the hinge parts above and in the middle directly below the connectors, directly below the screw. Drill through the recess in the hinge part into the profile.
05:38 Insert the springs into the upper hinge parts. Fix the springs in each case by means of screws in the upper hinge part on the profiles.
05:51 Place the insect repellent door on the lower hinge parts and connect the cap to the lower hinge parts, so that at the same time the spring becomes fixed.
05:57 Drill into the door frame at the points marked.
06:05 Fix the lower part of the hinge to the door frame with the screws.
06:11 Remove the brown protective film from the magnetic strip and stick it to the door frame by closing the door.
06:21 Attach the cover caps to the centre connector.
