For more than a decade now, members of the Turkana community have been on the receiving end from their cousins the Toposa from South Sudan. The Toposa have raided many villages along the Kenyan border killing, maiming and stealing livestock.
Two villages Nawountos and Lorus have born the brunt of the attacks and now villagers are taking matters into their own hands quite literally. Nimrod Taabu visited these two villages situated more than 700 kilometres from Nairobi and now reports on the scars of conflict.
