Greetings from Ohio USA, Over the last couple years I have been researching my family roots and have discovered that the Meyer side of my family come from Pellworm and that I have traced them back as far as (Joachim Meyer, 1693-1719). I'd like to visit the island some day and see if I can find out where he and other family members are buried but for now when videos like Rolf's come up I like to watch them and think about what it must have been like living there at that time. Hi Warren, thank you for liking the impressions about Pellworm. Pellworm is a very beautiful island and once you've been there, you'll want to go back again and again. Try to visit the island, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back at Pellworm next week.
