this is great. As someone fairly new (who wouldn't know ABC of visual basic) I wish I could just copy paste the code for the macro.

You should be able to copy and paste the code for the macro. Then there are just 2 things to change for your scenario (1) Named range (2) Default file path.

Thanks Mark, good stuff 👍 It wouldn't take much extra code to set the default file path to the folder in the named range so the file dialog always opens at the previously selected location each time. You might need a bit of error trapping and text manipulation to remove the file name but would be neat.

Hello Sir .Thanks for great information . I had a simple question which might be very useful for others.. all your code and path folder in vba was great ,but how could we create a combobox to load information of any include files as picture to that combobox and show it in the image box in excel ,if we want to keep journals this function would very useful for every one . would mind if i ask to help about the codes? Hi, Priya this side- thank you million tons! I was able to create a select file using the above technique. Yaay! Just one question to broaden my understanding- why did you use option explicit? Hoping for reply! Thank you so so much !!

Option Explicit is used tell the Visual Basic that all variables have to be declared, rather than created on the fly. Check out this post for more info: exceloffthegrid.com/do-you-have-to-use-dim-to-declare-variables/

The Header/Footer section would be the best place for information to print on every page.

How do you use this for multiple different file paths. All in Column S then want folder icons all in cell T next to my path. Thanks

That's tough. I've got a couple of suggestions you could try: 1) Use Application.Caller to discover which shape called the Macro. Then using the TopLeftCell.Address property of that shape you can find out which row the image was on. This then leads you to using the correct value from the S columns. 2) Passing parameters to the macro when the button is clicked, similar to this post: exceloffthegrid.com/assign-macro-with-arguments-to-a-form-control-button/ But should be do-able, but a lot of work.

THIS CODE WOULD BE VERY USEFUL IF BY PRESSING ANY CHECKBOX OR RADIO BUTTON THE CODE WOULD EXECUTE AND THE CODE COULD BE COPIED TO BELOW LINES USING DRAG DOWN
