Loud stuff. Idr. Lol. I can say I had 148.5 db. Had 2 JLs, Phoenix Gold amps, MB quarts components. Use to do Circuit City competitions. Bout 23 years ago. Yikes. Lol. I would get in between 5-10th place. BUT BUT I only had 2 - 12s and I could actually drive my car. Not being pulled in with trucks.

Loudest I've ever heard in person is the storm trooper hummer here in Albuquerque NM, he was actually on life of prices channel, but i have pics and videos inside it, fantastic build

Ive blocked off ports before, too. Sometimes it just sounds better that way. And on the other hand, I internally lengthened the port on my current prefab box- Big improvement. Whatever you do, just do it!

Good to see you still pumping these awesome videos out. I modeled my box after the one you designed and installed in Blue. I also have two 18'' Contraltos...but i pulled all soft parts and reconed with Lord of Bass softparts and PSI 7'' dustcaps. Probably doing 54s until i sell my amps to buy the sundown amp. You have opened many eyes and have taught many people. Not to mention the amount of people you have brought over to our side. thanks again.

Interesting that Will's box is tuned to 40 yet he peaks 36... I wonder if the ports are too close to the hatch and it is affecting the tuning, I ran into the same issue with my current enclosure, when I actually moved things around to get ports further away from the hatch the peak changed. If you have 12" ports, you need at least 12"'s of space between the port and the hatch for the ports to function properly. Just a thought.

You inspired me to build my system just like you said you looked up to SMD I look up to you both and am very into basshead builds. Unfortunately I dont have alot of money but with the help of your videos I installed a pretty nice cheap system. I have a 2007 honda civic hybrid. And it is a very hard car to install a system into. But with the help of you and SMD videos I have a 1200.1d monoblock amp from skar 1000w cap and all hooked to a txxbdc4 audiopipe 12. It is a good system but it would be my wish come true to meet you and have a system installed by you. I know its probably not possible but you never know. Just want to say thank you for your videos and Info in builds. Your a great person and congrats on the new job. I'm one of your biggest fans

If you have a super heavy sub that you need to mount use an alignment dowel. That way you can get the sub in position the dowels will support the weight then you should be able to maneuver it and fasten your hardware. The same thing can be done taking them out as you remove fasteners put dowels in so when you remove the last fastener they’ll support the weight and it frees up your hands.

(first setup) First off, what a beautiful, clean setup ! Respect ! But now, I'd say a tuning of 40 hz would be a bit high. I'm surprised he said it had a bandwidth of 10-65 ? I'd expect that from a box tuned to like 24 hz... but 40 hz ? Hmmm. I'd love to hear it though.

Hey man I went onto that showtime electronics site and holy shit they are expensive!!! A Kicker solo-baric (not a q-class) was 50 dollars more that the same size q-class on other sites!!! That's nuts!!! I also ordered a PSI 18" platform 4 sub and it's been over a fucking month and it hasn't even shipped yet!!! You have purchased from PSIaudio, is that normal??? I am freaking dying for my sub and it hasn't even shipped yet, getting pissed TBH!!!
