Matteo Chiarino That doesn’t sound too unreasonable. Online it estimates $19.5k/month to rent. But don’t think it takes a lot of the details into account like $3.4k/month HOA.

Agreed! This may be the most romantic apartment in all of NYC. Extraordinary atmosphere and ambiance. Even when owner removes furnishings, (presumably at time of sale) it will still be phenomenal!

I don't think it's due to neglect. Probably envisioned as a romantic ruins. Obviously not to everyone's taste, but small matter in the scheme of things, since the place will be sold without all the fabulous decor anyway,

I can’t get over it. I watched so many penthouses, many buildings in NYC, this is the BEST!!!!!!! I don’t know how many times I watched this video. Just to imagine I was living there. It did say penthouse, we don't know how many floors up, so maybe not as much noise up there & maybe all that greenery helps absorb the noise & some of the pollution caused by all those cars.

@@iamziano I live in Greece, my cousin lives on a busy street and her condo is on the 7th floor (well they don't count the ground floor here so they call it the 6th) anyway... there is no noise I'm totally surprised, then again most of the time their doors are closed... I wouldn't mind the penthouse too much but personally rather have a house with a yard then a condo in the city.

Brad the Pitts In central London, penthouses are quite common, however the pricing of homes in the UK, especially in London and towns close to there are absolutely expensive!! However, most homes are terraced due to lack of housing we had, so the government had to build homes immediately. :)

Fun Fact: it was originally bought for $500k for commercial space, and then sold in 2005 for residential purposes for only $1.7mil. FINALLY sold in November 2020 for $8.5.

the only home this channel has ever tempted me with. Somewhere that doesn't look like a soulless waste of money and recourses. If I could just live in that guest room it would be a dream. I know many disagree but that cozy dark aesthetic is the most comfortable for me. All the antique and recycled elements are amazing.
