If house appeals to professionals that work downtown , I wouldn’t pay $7.5 M for this house that is by the main road n the house’s interior deco is too busy, prefers minimalistic. By now this house is probably sold.
You referenced Toronto as a city of guns, gangs but I don't necessarily agree with that. Toronto at a statistical reference is a city that has much less criminal violence than other major metropolises. Secondly, homelessness is on the rise worldwide. Especially noting with western democratic cities such as LA, Seattle, San Diego, Vancover, etc. So this problem is clearly not indicative of direct Provincial or City politics. Personally, Yorkville has become very hollowed out from the original contra culture era it was in the 80s,90s, and early 2000s. It used to be very 'hip' to live amongst the youthful groups of artists, thinkers, and activists who used to hang out there. Today Yorkville is just a polished stone that has been sanitized of any actual culture. The only beauty is the immense sense of cleanliness, order, and accessible luxury at your doorstep. I'd believe anyone who purchases this place has those on his/her list of preferences. I personally, dont like the idea of having so many staircases at a price range of $4m as there are many other homes at this price range with many more options.
@@lucasb409 You are right Lucas, Toronto is considered safe in comparison to other big cities like Chicago, or Philadelphia. The house is nice, but with that price, it is not worth it. You can invest in South Florida, or Southern California for a better real estate, even in Austin Texas.
