So much better than the big white boxes we are usually shown. The attention to detail is simlpy fantastic. At last someone with money and taste. Outstanding. The only way to make this house better is jas.. the only down side for me is all the wood panelling.
There's a horse on coffee table in drawing room. Rocking horse, wooden and metal statue in sitting room, plus two horse head busts (one stone, one slate?) and lots of horses on cushions. One statuette in orangery, five in the dining room. Five in the big media room painting. Unicorn (not actually a horse) on the first bedroom pillow and unicorns on the window shades. White horse in pre-Raphaelite painting on first floor landing. Yeah, quite a few!
That is a amazingly beautiful HOUSE&👍 top Marks to the Architects,Designers& Decorating contractors who did a fantastic job maintaining the integrity of the property...And the guide did alright aswell!👍
This house is stunning and the thought that's been put into it every detail... And... The quality of the workmanship is Amazing!! Truly. Just a point. The stone framed windows in the beautiful conservatory are called Mullioned Windows. And its very true to form. Mid Victorian Homes were very often a bit of a mismatch of style and design its the period just before the Arts and Craft Movement. Love this Place... This is My Kind of Home. Judging from the comments below...many "Other Peoples" style too. Interesting isn't it !!

This house is the most stunning and sympathetic renovation and in the entire UK. I’ve been dreaming about it ever since it first came onto the market. I live in the area and know the house location very well. It sits just in front of the grounds of Eltham Palace, Henry VIII’s childhood home.
Fantastic home! I do wish the pans around the room were a bit slower, though. Also, an architrave is the moulding around a window or a door (think: a window or doorway arch = architrave). I keep hearing you referring to picture rails and chair rails as “architrave details” - perhaps because it sounds more sophisticated. Rather than using the word architrave incorrectly, you can call such work “joinery” or “moulding” - or refer to the more specific railing types if you prefer. 😉
The price point and the massive space and location, makes it feel like there actually giving this luxury home away, makes me want to move to the UK and make an investment, a definite eye pleasing estate, Tom great presentation and your every detail is most appreciated 👍
We have been looking for house in UK for almost a year. I still don't understand two points - why houses without large garden, at list 4 acre plot size and pools are so expensive. This house is stylish inside, stunning architecture, but plot size is so small, neighbours are too close 😢
Perfect house for hide and seek, other than that, a bit too old for my liking. but i will not mind to inherit it, but not to purchase it, even if i coud afford it.
