What is the opportunity cost of investing $857,200 in a home in lagos and investing same amount anywhere in US, Canada or The UK. The Nigerian real estate market need to be realistic with their outrageous prices!
I agree. It's not worth it. The Nigerian economy is very bad and the Naria keeps going down. In the UK, with that money, one can get a property in a prime location wait a few years and sell at a profit or get several properties on mortgages, put tenants in them and let them pay for themselves. In the video, look at the surrounding; it looks unkempt. Also you have to sort out your own electricity, drinking water, sewage etc.. Not a wise investment.
It's expensive because the estate guys surveys the land, construct the road, bring water to the site and electricity. Again they import most of the stuff for a better decoration of the house. All these to their expense. So they have to increased it so as to share to burden with the buyers
Sincerely its expensive but I font agree that its overpriced. Reasons: Location, Latest housing designs, House fully furnished, Imported and I believe flawless materials... The land alone might have swept off 1/6th of the price here.... Then there's the issue of agent etc. Think again and you might agree its expensive but not close to being overpriced
Lastly I think you should do a little research on houses in the UK... You'll be shocked, I guarantee you. Just rent alone can be extremely draining!! The US housing and real estate is quite affordable but not the UK...
I Bought 6 Plots Of Land In The Upcoming Okun Ajah And Okun Mopo. I am going to start building my own multi rentals property to come back to when I retired from USA in 5 years time. I have fenced the 6 Plots Of Land. By the time I finish building as many apartments that can fit into the 6 Plots Of Lands. The whole area will be so expensive. I can just move back to Nigeria and lay back to be enjoying my retirement. I also have one plot of land in Okun Mopo facing the Beach 🏖 that will be my 3 levels house that will be my own personal residence with balcony facing the Atlantic Ocean.
Can you imagine. House price in Nigeria are now expensive than house price in Nigeria . And it’s just 4 bedrooms. Lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 OMG. Money in the ?????😂😂😂😂 it’s like Money is paper in Nigeria.😂😂
Yes, buts it’s not in the US. Every country has their own house prices which aren’t uniform across the globe. Most of the building materials are imported which would add to the building cost, also factor in the cost of the land itself which is a huge cost on its own.
@@yemol9454 I don't understand how things that ought to be regarded as a positive starts becoming a negative. Is a land in Nigeria supposed to be more expensive than a Land in USA?
Confidence looking glam and beautiful as usual! Also great presentation as always! Beautiful home, although if I could afford this, I would definitely change a few things.
Most of the materials used in the development of this property are all imported, unfortunately. Complete set of doors and windows could be made in Nigeria from the abundant wood resources in the country. Most Nigerians, whether living home or abroad will appreciate wood. Until we start having confidence in our products, our resources and believe in ourselves, the Naira will continue to fall. It is a shame when we blame the government for everything, while contributing to failure indirectly. Intelligence has more to do with adapting.
Well. I think the city and the location where the house is located is what gives this house the largest value that made it expensive. I can see that. The same house in a ghetto won't be valued at that price obviously. So people should understand that aspect too. Other factors may be exclusivity, security or privacy. Class of neighbours you will be living with, access or proximity to some important places also counts. All I can say is rich people see beyond the house itself.
Nigerian developers are living in cucu land, greedy to the core. This House is not worth 100m naira. Even here in the UK half of the population can not afford a house of 850k plus dollars or pounds. An hour drive out of London you'll get bigger houses with bigger gardens than this for less than half price. Only people that loots government money, which is our commonwealth really would spend such money on this house not anyone that's working hard for their money. The house is that small for a start, the entire ground floor is less than 50sqm that's the reason they don't tell you specifications of the house. That living area is less than 20sqm for 850 thousand dollars. 4 Kids and the parents would struggle in that downstairs space. The garden is not big enough for children to play... Ridiculous in every way you think of it. Thank you.
@@kingsleyokehi5705 Working smart to his knowledge is stealing money from the resources or 419. Ordinary person that is working hard are not going to be able to buy this house.
$72trillion for heritage for richest man children To know how to work for money and make the money/ through working in office jobs or yahoo to make the money and to come rent or buy
I'm from Ghana ,if you people are saying it overpriced then what will we say here in Ghana.fully furnished 4 bedroom house not even up to 1 million dollars wow. I'm shocked 😲
Really.....but here in Nigeria....Lagos is the most overpriced house in Nigeria........even Abuja that is developed that has house of international standards are not overpriced....... That's why we are saying is overpriced.....I would even prefer to buy house in portharcourt than in lagos
@@promisebethel2226 ook...I might consider buying a house in Nigeria in the future.there is no place you can get such a house in Ghana to buy not even in the village.....the way houses are overpriced in Ghana is very sad
@@promisebethel2226 yea a house like that in a Prime area in Ghana furnished will probably go for between 1 to 1.2 million Dollars and if you call to inquire about it, they will tell you it's already been sold, so if interested you have to be on a waiting list for the next development, real estate market in Ghana is just crazy.
@@simplyivy9855 it’s not true cuz that amount can build 3 houses of same type in my town in Ghana 🇬🇭 I have a 9bedroom house each room has its own toilet and bathroom house i built and am left with the furnishing which I have spent 40,000$
As an architect I used to criticize this babe. but honestly, I see a lot of improvement in her delivery. She has gotten much better over the years. and kudos to the camera guy and editor. I would suggest she watches more of ENES on RU-vid to get much better. Although these nigerian houses are mostly lowkey shit, she tries her best to sell them to us
It's very beautiful. Its space is well utilized. The interior decorators really did a good job; I wonder where they got those clocks from. My favourite part of the house is the master bedroom's balcony. Imagine sitting with your Mona Lisa in a place like that. Nonetheless, I feel a mini cinema would have been a perfect icing on the cake. Thumbs up to the creative decorators. Thank you, Eden Oasis for this video. It has been very insightful.✨
Overrated with unnecessary stuff. Just give me the empty house while I furnish it my self. Overall amazing content cause we don’t get to see this everyday. Good job
It is possible for you to kindly put me I touch with the interiors decorator I would really appreciate it. I hope you see this on time and reply. Many thanks.
