I take apart a Bose SoundDock, which is Bose's version of the iPod device docks that were popular in the 2000s. It was designed to play music from an iPod at high volume in a small form-factor suitable for a shelf or bedstand.
I speculate that you would not have been able to take it apart without Scooter's timely help on his day off. I hope you compensated him well for his support.
