Second day in Romania. This country is amazing. Today's goal is to cover as many kilometers as possible to get to Klush to see 2 people and see if I'm lucky enough to find a bear.
As soon as I started the route I found a road full of windmills and the surprise came when I saw that one of the windmills was missing a propeller. I was able to approach the drone to see what was inside.
After the lookout, I was ready to continue the route, passing through different bee farms where we saw how they work, stopping for lunch at a restaurant in Sanatesti. They could not cook for me and offered me the typical Romanian sausages and cheeses. After recovering my strength, I continued my route, passing by the Polovragio cave, crossing forests with impressive mountain scenery, rivers and stopping at different mountain points. In one of these roads I met some wild horses that got scared when they saw me, and when they ran to escape, they went in the same direction. It looked like a race.
Shortly after, I reached the valley of Curmatura Oltetului and walked along it to get to the bottom of everything. My surprise came when right in the valley was the lake Petrimanu. As a curiosity, I must say that it is not a lake itself, but a reservoir to hold water for the surrounding towns.
Finally, it was getting dark, but it was not difficult to find a place to sleep, because the rural population of Romania rents different houses to the tourists passing through there. Since it was low season, I was able to choose the pension that suited me best and I was able to shower, eat and rest.
I hoped to find some bears today as there are quite a few in the middle of the mountains in Romania, but I am still making too much noise with the quad and I doubt I will find any.
