This is the greatest "normal" home I've ever seen! Everything is great from the moss wall to the fans, hanging plants etc. Better then homes much bigger and costing way more!
@@JonoConstantini Normal as in normal-sized and cost home that a normal upper-middle class person is within reach of. It's 5 stories but really meant to be 2 stories, 20m pool but more narrow than a normal pool. Soccer "room" not a soccer "field". If you look at all the rooms they are relatively small as you hear people saying in the comments but they are so well designed that they make such great use of the space. For instance the wine cellar can only hold 2 chairs side by side but the pool window was a great idea because it made the room look much bigger. A really wonderfully designed house
It’s not a question of the size of the house. Just the cost of the custom windows and doors this house has is probably equivalent to the cost of a ‘’normal’’ sized home for an upper middle class family in a developed country. It’s much cheaper to build a big pool on flat land than to incorporate it on a slope IN THE HOUSE. This house is beautifully designed but has probably cost a fortune. 💸💸💸
What an amazing property to share. The transformation from what is still on Apple Maps street view to this is something special to be able to appreciate. Hats off to Aurelien. Such an inspiration!
Of all the beautiful houses this channel has shown, this one is the closest to what I wanted to build in a specific lot I owned a few years back. I've since sold it though. Nevertheless I'm always on the lookout for lots with steep inclines, such as this one, which maximize views.
cool and i love how fun the pool and climbing room is, wine cellar is lovely, but... this just feels like a hotel? where's art? souvenirs, family objects, spaces to leave messes, little nic nacs, give it some life! i understand everyone has different taste but... this just doesn't feel lived in or fun to live in...
That's really comfortable and convenient dream house I think 😍😍.Really love how gorgeous, elegant, and absolutely playful this house which can make all the people in that house stay very long time without worried to be boring. Another great shot from this channel - always inspiring and entertaining with beautiful angle from the video. Keep going and let's hit 1 million subs !!
Now this is Architecture and building at its finest , the flow , the use of material and lighting as well as functionality for the client is absolutely amazing . Well done to the builder , owner. designers all involved.
What an absolutely gorgeous home! Lust worthy but in the best of ways. So many ideas that have come together with perfection. Ok! My favorite ever! Thank you for sharing this!
The home itself is very fun yet stunningly beautiful!! That wine cellar with the pool view was the highlight of this home! Just love it! Plus, the kids enjoy the outside activities inside makes it even more fun! Thank you so much Local Project!
Okay, seriously? Am I the only one who thinks that every LP video has people raving about how amazing the house is and how it's the best one on the channel? I mean, sure, some of them are pretty cool, but they all kind of blend together after a while. Personally, I prefer homes that are warm, inviting, and have a special vibe, like Casa Rosa. But this one? Ugh. It just feels so cold and masculine with its giant size, pool with a view of the wine cellar, and all that black. Who wants to play football in a room like that anyway? It's hard to put my finger on it, but it just feels lifeless and lacking in energy. Like, seriously bad vibes coming from it.
Interesting opinion. Nevertheless it seems to go against pretty much every other comenter here. Which is great, by the way. But I think you and I can agree that this channel shows some of the best houses in Australia and New Zealand. Maybe not this one for you. As for me? I thought it was exquisite from top to bottom.
That room seems ideal for futsal practice. Also, it could be repurposed at any time: Put some carpet on the floor and a billiard table and you have a billiards room. Have a bare concrete floor, paint the walls black, have some wall attachments for chains and handcuffs, and you have a vivid imagination.
A beautifully designed building. But comes across as very cold and sterile. I could not raise a family there and call it a home. Has a very high end private airport lounge feeling. Or an expensive airbnb rental designed for those incredible Instagram photos. It could very well become a home if they put something as simple as family photos on the walls, vibrant art, (not just a nature poster on the wall of the mini football room). But with that said it's still a beautiful design and a wonderful example of how people can have totally different tastes but still create great things.
Good luck finding things in that house!! I have a 3 storey house that's probably 1/20th the size of this, and I can literally NEVER find things when I put them away in a cupboard or drawer! Seriously, remember that little 'thing' you put away a few weeks ago, that you now need again.........WHERE IS IT????
Look on the bright side. (1) Inspires one to become more organised. (2) If it can't be found, it wasn't needed. (3) Free cardio workout while looking for it. Stairs are the best.
@@martinXY HahaHa!.... Re(2) believe me, I've been looking for the last 2 days for one of my tools to repair a broken water pipe which I haven't used for a couple of years! It is certainly NEEDED! But after looking in every cupboard, drawer & box on all three floors of my house, it has still NOT been found! So...... good luck to this chap!😂
I thought it was cold at first, but seeing the rest of the home, flooring, batten, wood staircase, etc. it's simply stunning. Beautifully done -- and gorgeous views!
It is hard to understand why someone with such financial resources and expertise in construction would build such a house. The house is wasteful in its use of natural resources, particularly the expansive use of energy intensive concrete. Also, the house layout appears to waste a considerable amount of space with too many stairs and hallways, special purpose rooms, and rooms that have space for the sake of space. The kitchen would be a headache to cook in, walking between the fridge, sink, stovetop, oven, and counter top. The house is not “cost effective” or efficient, but mostly ostentatious. It lacks the feeling of a true home.
This home is gorgeous. That pool! Unfortunately, I had to watch the video without sound because the music was too much, very distracting and I couldn't really hear what was being said 🙁
That’s some solid craftsmanship, but the design is too crowded imo, too many different shapes, angles, ideas. And yes, „store“ your kids next to the wine and cheese in the basement, how kind.
Whoever picked that ATROCIOUS squeegee "music" needs to get his ears checked. Had to stop watching the video, absolutely unbearable. What are you thinking?
