I saw some of this dancers meet on a Saturday under the fly over in Darling harbour.. just after lock down. Super positive community of people .. zero ego... all supporting each other... hugging it out at the end of each set. Really good to see and some GREAT world class dancers.
Our Maori and Polynesian breakdancers, poppers and tickers stems from Polynesians in America in the 1970s with blue city Strutters and booya tribe. Kobra and gangsta Ridd. Classified as one of the best in the world. And from there we Maoris and Polynesians have adapted that in NZ and Australia and the Pacific. Keep up the solid battles Sydney siders.
This is funny as hell. He asked should we be expected to see what Hollywood shows us🤣🤣🤣🤣. We are seeing a people doing what my people/⚫ people started and are still doing. So in the future don't act like you all started break dancing. Its not called street dancing and you can't reinvent anything it. It's been around since the 70s or late 60s. SMDH....
