Today AD brings you to Beverly, Washington along the banks of the Columbia River to visit a tiny home straight out of the early Space Age. When professional catamaran designer Kurt Hughes decided to build his Lunar Lander Dwelling House, he set out to improve upon the excessive weight and structural weaknesses found in some tiny houses. Using lessons learned from his decades building ships, Kurt has maximized every inch in his meticulously designed replica of the Apollo Lunar Lander.

What an amazing tiny house! The entire design is quite clever and very livable, while also being whimsical and escapist as well. I enjoyed hearing Mr. Hughes explain his reasoning behind every element of the design. It seems like quite a homey and pleasant environment.

This is so cool! I know it's might to be small but imagine if that top had a little astronaut seat to sit and look out at. That bedroom looks so comfy i would just jump off the ladder into the bed lol
