Sometimes the hardest thing about going to work at an event or a show is the feeling of the unknown.
What should you expect, where will you find everything, and what does the venue even look like? Whenever possible you should get in and have a look around a venue before you work there to put yourself at ease.
I thought I’d give you a little tour of a venue that I work in so you can get an idea of what I consider pretty typical. Every venue has its eccentricities but I think this is a pretty good representation.
