Currently working on my DM notes for a D&D campaign where a trinity of kingdoms are under threat of an angered volcano god in the form of a giant frog. Listening to this really helps set the scene and I'll probably have it playing in the background when players explore volcanic fields and dungeons where lava has invaded the deepest chambers.

@@bladerdj3503Late response but so far it's going great even with the setback of only getting to play for an hour on work lunch break. Currently the party is investigating some activity in a part of the Yellowstone based kingdom tied to a group that's possibly responsible for incurring the frog's wrath (specifically the southern area based on Grand Teton National Park--I went to school for geology and based the three kingdoms on major areas of hot-spot type volcanism as well as other national parks in the Northern Hemisphere)

I'm working on a fan concept for warframe, regarding the most volcanic planet in the solar system, Io. The current open explorable locale is the Volcanic Mountain Zone or VMZ for short. This is what comes to mind when I imagine the scorched landscapes of a large valley spewing with lava and toxic gas. Amazing work!

Been reading a manga that has different levels of a labyrinth and one level was exactly like this - just magma oceans and volcanoes as far as the eye could see - and this really help set me in the mood.

Thank you for this. I have spent hours looking for a dwarven forge track only to find ones with an unbearable 30-40 hammers per minute. Gets real old real quick if they'll be exploring for a few hours and wondering why the noise hasn't gotten louder or softer or just stopped.

This does´t really sound like inside a volcano to me, more like a starting paroxysmal eruption from the foot of the mountain, but that is just what I need. It also sounds really relaxing.
