dear bang marvin and kak vanessa, with the perspective of "life is basically The Sims", i just wanna tell you that you guys ARE living my current dream. this is the house standard i wanna achieve before i die.
Vanessa & Marvin truly your house is an oasis in the middle of the city, simple, cosy with no doubt its a tropical house that will bring in peace & calmness..
Thanks for bringing indonesian architecture to the spotlight! They are really a very artistic couple, but for my opinion, the child's room needs more color for her stimulation. She's just a kid, her room doesn't need to be customized to her parent's aesthetic.
The architectural and interior design is phenomenal with the compositions of neutral colours, yet it still bogs me down at how grey/beige-coded the daughter's room is. Personally, I believe colours play a crucial role in the early childhood development of adolescents to foster a creative mindset, especially for the future where creativity stands tall against the rise of AI. Nonetheless, superb house!
The most beautiful and practical house I've ever seen in Indonesia. Can you just imagine doing different activities in one space? Cooking, chatting, watching TV, etc. Brilliant! The lighting and natural lights are perfect! 👏👏
Beautiful! The first time I see something I could call my dream home. The owners have great taste and it's smart that they designed it around their lifestyle.
4:15 Small lil detail but I like that shoerack right there near the entrance. Beautiful home, didn't visualize Indonesia would look like this. As soon as I saw that rooftop view and realized how close they were to the city, I automatically compared it to LA, Las Vegas, New York cause I'm in the US and its so cold but when you look at their neighborhood fool of nature trees and greenery and seeing how close it is outside the city just gave me a whole new perspective of Indonesia, again beautiful place.
Just beautiful! Love the feel, love the concrete. Really well designed. Ambiguous from the outside but entering through the front gate encapsulates you into a tranquil environment. The wallpaper in the daughter's bedroom is just spectacular. The whole house is on-point.
been subscribed to Stacked Homes and I can't be more proud to finally find Indonesian home in this channel! hopefully you can include more Indonesian architecture!
Very serene! I especially love the detail where they lower the ceiling of the kitchen to create intimate atmosphere, I bet memories made while they spend quality time in the kitchen cooking or preparing food together would feel more precious. However, I watched the video until the end and couldn't find any design or style that refers to "Bali Style" the lady mentioned, lol. Although, I think "villa concept" is what she was aiming for.
Too much concrete, too little nature (trees, plants), makes the house look very sterile. Sofa should be oriented towards the outdoor and TV ditched. Rooftop is phenomenal. Overall a lovely house, like the modernity and minimalism, but imo should better make use of tropical raw mats (ex: bamboo panels, wood..). Concrete is not ecological and is the material of the last century
the second i saw that kitchen i thought they must have another (wet) kitchen in the back that is actually used (by their helpers) to actually cook. you can't cook Indonesian food in that kind of kitchen and expect it to stay clean and the house doesn't smell like spices lol
