I feel like many of the appliance, plumbing, hardware, doors, windows, etc, can be salvaged and donated to help build affordable housing for low income and the homeless. Obviously an 8 burner stove is not necessary for a low income situation, but it could be sold and that money used to go toward new building or restoration.
Like, if I was homeless, I’d just go mansion hopping, get a shower, warm my bones, maybe a change of clothes, I’d make sure I was respectful obvz… ya know, open window theory n all that…
Definitely a 90s house with the multiple electronic boxes/ technology in the basement movie room, gas burning fireplace frame designs, tile styling, and sponge painted walls.
They probably salvage & sell the light fixtures, bathroom fixtures & kitchen appliances before demolition, they probably mine all the copper & brass plumbing including fixtures & doorknobs as well
That place isn’t abandoned someone’s going in there to at least clean up. There’s no dust anywhere in that wood is polished and no one’s gonna take the time to pay for security every month or yearly for an abandoned house someone’s just waiting to sell the place that’s all.
People are wasteful! House needs updating--wood floors & new tiles--but not much in design has cganged since the 90s. It used to be every decade was really distinctive (1960s, 70s, 80s) but now things just reguire renovations
Stunning house, crazy to destroy it. That huge elegant staircase is called ‘spiral eye’ staircase, as you see the eye shape when looking down the staircase center. Fabulous job, thank you! Stay safe.cat x
I guess people have too much money to be living in something they didn't design themselves in that kind of area. At the same time I feel like there are a lot of people out there who would buy it and just use it occasionally.
What I find amazing is that no one trashes, steals, graffitis, or squats in these abandoned homes in Canada and in other places in Europe (for the most part). I wish America was like that, respecting other people's memories, their belongings, etc. A girl can wish, I guess. A magnificent home, loved the bathrooms, all of the marble, the bar, home theater, kitchen. I do wish you would show *everything,* like closets, garage, laundry room, little nooks. I'm nibby 😂. Thank you for the tour. 💯 Thank you for the tour.
@@richyq8786 im 46, and i happen to know complacency loses countries. yes this is a liberal situation we are talking about. denial is a stinky calogne....
Why are they demolishing such beautiful mansions? In my country, old buildings are never demolished. If there is no one to buy it, it will be left to rot.
