Hi Dina, lol yup your not the only one. Most of these so called " influencers " are simple "day trippers", they arrive introduce themselves try to get a free meal or drink then poof gone. Azulik doesn't need any press at all its well known. The rooms are basic Palapa's in that they are bamboo / vine / pillar construction. No air, other than breeze from the ocean so a jungle room is hot, no fan as no 120 volts or hot water. The beach is CO ( clothing optional ) the Hotel is LGBTA friendly, many of the staff are. The vibe is very chill, you won't find Bling Boys or Girls here so leave the Rolex at home lol...music on the beach varies depending on requests as their is a DJ on the beach ! $1000 pesos for each person to "day visit" the beach on deck chairs or beds with open bar and food so come early and drink swim sunbathe then eat to your hearts content. There is a Lifeguard on duty most of the day and Security Guards. But if you just want to come hang out get nude or topless that's fine (you can purchase beer wine liquor etc at a mini market 500 feet down the road) as the first ~ 40 feet of beach from the waters edge is public.

Looking for something reasonably priced, $500/night or less on the beach, preferably within close proximity to other restaurants and other fun places to go out. I’m traveling in a group of 5 for my bachelorette party in March, so ideally a suite or something that sleeps 5-6 comfortably… thanks for offering to share some recommendations!

For some reasons, Mexico government doesn’t require US citizens to quarantine when they visit any Mexico City. I don’t know why. 🤔🤔🤔

Tourism is huge for Mexico. Without tourism, people would literally starve. Mexico is one of the few countries that allow any citizen from any country in without quarantine or restrictions. I wish I'm there right now, but the Canadian government strongly suggests that we stay home. You never know if there will be a sudden lock down in the country you're visiting. It can get really crazy.

Love those chill-lax places on the beach like Coco-Tulum. You build the best relationships with the locals at places like that. The Art Museum was worth the $10 I would say, most US museums you can't get in for under $30. Looking fwd to the next!!

Couldn't agree more! Some places are really strict about filming too, which if you are me... es NO BUENO! So really appreciated how chill coco was :) and yeah relative to USA art museums it is definitely a good price, but considering the MET in new york is $25 and has just a ridiculous amount of world treasures... the prices don't quite line up imo. This is a smaller more immersive experience, still worth the $10 but was a bit surprised since last time it was donation! anywho thanks for watching Nathan! Hope you are well :)

There's a famous liquid potion down there that many loco Americanos and Canadianos pay mucho dinero to swallow, I won't say what it is, but it starts with an "A." In fact, I just realized, maybe that's what you're really doing down there. Your innocent scatterbrain routine doesn't fool me! Oh wait, sorry, that sounded like an insult, I didn't really mean it, I was just making a joke! But still, you could find plenty of places in the jungle to sneak off to and strip.
