We are almost settled in the new shop and ready to get back to making regular videos! I’m glad you guys are here and understand how much of a process this has been. We can’t wait to get back to normal 🤟🏻 New merch! Stapletonautoworks.com
Dude just was steady spitting off the parts and what they went to with no hesitation! When your employees can do that then I think it’s safe to say they can be trusted with quality!
This channel is becoming my favorite, I look forward to the new shop and the content to come . Thank you and Logan for the special effort y'all put into everything you do.
Getting caught up on our videos. Was introduced to Detroit Speed through a friend of mine in Mooresville and met Kyle once at Barrett Jackson. in Scottsdale. Great company and quality of product
I've got a whole new level of respect for DSE. Seeing these parts up close, pre-paint, machined A-arm ends! Are you kidding me? Most parts will just be a welded on section of tubing at whatever I.D. it shipped. Hydro formed cross members??🤯 Saves a ton of weight over welded up box sections or plate. Just insane!
I WANT SOME!!!! I guess I have been living under a rock because I never heard of these parts. Thanks for showing us how we can upgrade to some badass parts!!
Glad to hear you guys are getting settled in at your new place! I'm here, and glad you could post a video, pretty cool place @ Detroit Speed, lot of good work coming out of there for sure. Am liking these shop tours, they rock, and kind of showcases what our hobby with our hot rods is all about! Keep up the great content, and hope you & Logan are doing well. Thanks man!
I was in their shop in Michigan probably 20-22 years ago when it was next to fast fuel injection. Huge difference! They probably had 4-5k SQ feet back then.
I really enjoy these videos like this. I grew up with family members that were farmers and racers and a lot of times we would have to fabricate Parts because we couldn't get the parts we need it so I really enjoy the Ingenuity and Fabrication that these guys use to design these parts.
I don't like technical tours! I love them! What an amazing facility they have. Your Monte Carlo is screaming to have some of those parts. Happy fan here!
@Stapleton42 Great tour of Detroit Speed. Those guys are on another level. Their approach to the manufacturing is huge. They provide quality parts that have the correct geometry and ride height. The complete builds they do are an another level too. I still can’t decide on my favorite build from them because they have so many. They have that blue 3rd gen camaro with a destroked ls7 that revs to 8500 and makes 700hp na. I know you love hi revving engines and appreciate a great exhaust note. So try to get a ride in that car next time, I think you’ll love it. I really hope to see your Monte Carlo with their suspension on it. You will be absolutely floored with the performance. Also I want that tape machine too. I love videos like this of shop tours and how things are made. Great content.
Wow, first off, did you see how clean that place is? Now, this was an enlightening episode. Seeing all that stuff beginning to end was cool, even the Chinese throwing stars.
Great video . . . again! Definitely another Detroit Steel visit. It’s like going to the North Pole to Santa’s workshop with Santa’s little helpers churning out all the quality presents every one of us would love to get for Christmas. Especially us gear heads.
An OG subscriber here. I enjoy all your content I love the ones from the speedways the traveling around. They're all good your content is something for everyone I just happen to enjoy most of it. Keep doing what you do you came a long way. Maybe you should have Logan do one where she narrates most of it...
The shop tours are awesome, you have such a great interviewing style. Maybe we'll get to see Logan putting some of those parts on the Monte one day! Excited for you guys to get settled in and back up and rocking!!! Adventure World is just as good as Auto Works!
Im a welder myself seeing well put together hand tig welded parts like that is like candy. Im like you. To damn pretty to wanna powder coat it haha. Beautiful stuff.
As a welder myself even tho I’m a pipe welder and a drag racer I really really appreciate good quality parts with good tig welds, love it. When you’re a welder you look at everything and anything that’s welded it’s a weird habit lol.
El Dale Carlo with some Detroit Speed parts would be awesome Hope it stays blower and even like the 6 speed transmission you had in it. Keep up the cool stuff.
My dad was a mechanic and I had a couple nice cars when I was 17 In the early 80's and had to sell them when the recession happened and never really wanted a car after that because I would never be able to have a car that I wanted. I will never ever want a car just for transportation I'd rather ride a horse. When you said that"you hate everything you've had" as a car I could do relate that.
Great to see a company take pride in what they do and provide quality products!! Amazing craftsmanship as well. The shop tech tours are great, do more please! Thanks for sharing.
Those caster camber plates are really cool, I had some from another brand and they eventually started moving on their own and they weren't cheap it was just the way they were designed
Love the video. I enjoy seeing all the work that goes into building a amazing product!!! Ralph is going to amazing!!! It has been min but Ralph will rise again!!!
Really cool submission! As a small business owner in the Detroit area I've known about Detroit speed for a while. I'm a nuts and bolts kind of guy and like a good American based company that has high quality standards and puts out excellent product!
To answer the question that breifly appeared on my screen, I love videos like this, it's always cool to see how the companies you order from or may consider ordering from operate. Those little Ninja stars were pretty neat, and those guys can do some damn fine welding, always nice to know that there's places out there still making their own products right here in the good ol' U.S.A! I kinda like that little van at the end there, most of those little City Express vans and their Nissan NV counterparts I see on the road are covered in beer companies logos , it's cool to see a modded one.
I loved the whole video. They build some great stuff. I too loved the Ninja stars, but the concept and how they work was awesome. I had no idea the video was over 30 minutes. It seems like it just started, and then it was over. Great Job!
Another quality informative video. Thank you. More of these would be great along with in-depth build up videos. 🙂 . Your passion shows as does your enthusiasm. Keep up the great work.
