I was a respiratory therapist in an NICU for 30 years. We saw a lot of diaphragmatic hernias over the years. They were very critical but wonderful to see the recovery.

The deep breaths misty was finally able to take after surgery is astounding. I can't imagine how it felt for her once she came out of anesthesia and her pain was managed, the relief and realization of "wow I can breathe" must have felt amazing.

Steve did a brilliant job with Misty Blue. I cried watching her being operated on as she was so little. Cried tears of happiness to see her playing. God bless & thank you for giving her a fab life...😻

I´m happy. All the patients are healthy! Misty blue is miracle tiny kitten. Her mum and, Hugo son are very good owners. Best present ever, said Hugo 😊🐈💞. Little Tasmanian devil pup is adorable. Thank you, all the Doctors ❣

I had a Dalmatian that sang also. Whenever music was on the tele he sang along especially harmonicas.

They could sell season-long "Director's Cut" versions that show the surgeries & donate the proceeds to some of the animal charity groups

Beautiful episode! 😢it brought tears to my eyes! A funny story…we called our son the little Tasmanian Devil because he was a bundle of energy when he was little, his name is Ian, the he turned into a Hurricane 🌀 this year (I totally am not trying to make light of what happened to the people who are affected by it, I pray they heal from their experiences) anyway, his daughter is named Kira, so I found it ironic that this Devil was named Kira! Now we have a Tasmanian Devil Juniorette! ❤Blessings and Peace everyone ❤️✝️

I wonder if we all promised not to faint, if we could tallk them out of fogging the surgery details? I really want to see inside. I've been cutting open roadkill for my primary pupils and they too seem quite able to stand the shock in fact they have a huge appetite for those things.

It's a youtube problem unfortunately. It didn't use to be like this, and I loved watching medical and surgery programs, like unside ER hospitals and stuff. But now everything is blurred and it mainly focuses on the emotional aspect of things. which is fine, just not what I want to watch lol. But it's not the people making the programs, but more the networks and online platforms that reward these changes

what is the cost of a surgery like that on the little kitten?. here in Sweden just a normal checkup is insane expensive the insurance don't cover so much

God bless the Xray, eh? Almost every question here has been settled by a brilliant "look inside"; prior to cutting open something that may not really need it. Along with antibiotics, the Xray hs done more to advance our hold over health than anything I can think of.

This! Although xrays do have weaknesses and things they cannot show, they were a huge breakthrough. They give doctors an idea rather than just pure speculative guessing that we pretty much had to do before.

I credible to see how skilled the veterinarians are, here in Brazil it takes five years of college, and they don't collect samples to color and identify in the microscope at their clinics. I hope Pluto is singing again.

Eonderful jobon the surgery for Misty Blue. The technical expertise of the vets is stunning and theyobviously love the animals. They also are closed ncerned with pain relief and in my personal experience is not always true for MDs.

I love your show, especially that in the most recent past your stories were shown uninterrupted. The new editing style is chopping up the stories which is disconcerting. I know it's the style for other shows, but it's not good for one's attention.

I did not like the baby devil abruptly taken away from its mom, it is very sad. The trauma on the mom too is saddening also. Should’ve waited until mama was weaning the baby! Glad that they are conserving the Devils but not agree with their methods.

It's a RU-vid thing, if they don't blur the surgery, RU-vid can take the videos down. It's better to blur things so at least we can still watch the videos. But I do think RU-vid should allow the surgeries to be shown, they are educational.

When it's broadcast in other countries... Dont know if it's true but I've been told this blurring stupidity is only in the U.S. All they needed to do is put a graphic warning on the episodes...
