Ha ha awesome even sleep deprived! ♥ Tip #1 set the big inspiring directional goal and align budgets to that. #2 if you are not at senior leadership, work to shrink the budget planning cycle as short as possible. #3 Use any public AI to automate any response someone asks of you, and for any query you want to ask your manager, focus on the actual engineering work building value! ♥

44:20 it seems that we have currently a deep crisis at the state administration level here in Czechia. All through this fantastic video, I'm trying to think if it would ever be possible to use any of the agile methods for management of our public companies. I do realize that such a thought is wilder than any sci-fi movie - but somebody somewhere must at least try to transfer this learning into the state administration, anywhere in the world, sot hat they can be a shining beacon for all hopeless country administrations all over the world. It makes no sense to plan for the Universal basic income, when your state is bankrupt, corrupt, and IT congested beyond imagination.

The public sector often operates in a very complex environment, where many factors influence the final outcome. Testing new approaches in such a setting will definitely be more challenging than in the private sector. Wow, this really intrigued us! Twitter was losing money for it's entire existence with a few quarters exception. Elon made it break even in 2 years against huge woke campaign, and with a fraction of the original staff while also deployed more new features than the original management with 3x more people in a decade. Innovation will pay off, just keep following the story.

Joe doesn’t need to hire a Starship. Just ask submariners for understanding life in a tin can for 6 months. Hell of a lot cheaper safer & more feasible to colonise under the ocean than in space.

Tesla is not Agile, more like Sluggish and Stumbling. FSD is years behind schedule Robotaxi is years behind schedule Tesla Semi is years behind schedule Optimus bot is a joke
