Ive got a Vk Group 3 in Asteroid silver, ive always loved the lines of the VK but yours makes mine look so dated. Really nice build especially the paint. Keep up the good work!

theres a reason no one else has done an engine cover like that, its f@#cken hideous. love the way he says hideous rims were on the vk when he bought it. they're stock commodore wheels and they still look better than his eng cover lol. clearly knows/loves his holdens.
Why does this video make such an effort to show a biography of the guy? From someone who used used to own a 1984 VK 4 speed Ex Chaser , bought it with 40,000 km on it from Christie’s Auction in Sydney back in 85 . Mate I gotta say what a fucken build , congratulations its awesome brother. Biggest regret I have is selling my VK , best car I’ve ever driven . At 90,000 km I rebuilt the engine ( mildly worked ) and put some Simmons rims on it with 50 series Falken tyres , it handled great . Late one night a Blue Meanie Group A VK pulled up at the lights and we both took down a 3 km long straight , we must have been doing at least 240 kmh probably more the Blue Meanie was 40 meters behind me all the way .
It looks the part with that custom made engine cover and the cut out bonnet. The custom design to the interior is to desired and looks comfortable. The paintwork looks superb in the grey finish which compliments the 1985 VK Commodore "to a tee".
Nice build mate. Fuck the haters that cannot appreciate your interpretation of a very fucking nice VK. The haters are just jealous of the work you put in to produce a nice car and people that say they hate it aren’t really on the same level cause they can’t appreciate your car for the awesomeness it is and more than likely are people that can’t take constructive criticism and better themselves or respect someone else’s opinion they should respect your opinion on how you want your car to be and take some positives from your car. A lot of people are quick to point out all the negatives without asking you what the reasons were for you to build your car the way you did chances are there’s logic behind interpretation of an awesome VK (EG the seating layout and engine for reliability that to me screams a man with logic). The engine cover looks awesome by the way
