I miss being a kid and doing this stuff. All nighters working on my ride, friends, meeting up, car shows, being proud of your ride etc. Have my own shop now, but it's not the same love I used to have.
It comes with age I guess, I had so much time in my teens to work on rides into the late night and be out racing all night into the morning, I miss it but keep my cars and cruise to relive those times in a way.
That guy in the beginning at 4:00 wanting to race is my uncle. They called him deenie back in the day. As a kid I would go over to the house he was on the phone at and see him working on cars all the time. He would tell me he lived the fast and furious lifestyle. Really did make cars go fast and it was tripe when I first saw him on here. To this day people still meet up at locations around so cal and street race.
This is an era I would live in, no social media except MySpace, the car scene, the music like 50 or Beenie man, some of the women were traditional and naturally beautiful instead of today. I’m born in 03 btw
You mean a post 911 world? When everyone was paranoid. We were getting involved in the middle east - a conflict that is still going on today. Hurricane Katrina? Sure the music was cool. Women were the same. Traditional and naturally beautiful? You mean dolled up Brittany Spears make up and a time when breast augmentation was becoming more affordable? The past is rosy and sweet - if you never lived through it. I was born in 95. I am not trying to be mean but just give some perspective my dude. I relish the early 2000s as well. Makes me think of my childhood.
this guy was actually in the first fast and the furious i think, the first racing scene. The director said that almost every car in that scene was driven and owned by real racers.
Stumbled across this and rewatched it after seeing it the first time it aired. That dude Will who wouldn't drive his car was trying the hardest to look cool for the camera, and kept looking over way too much lmao
DO YOU KNOW HIM BACK THEN WHEN THEY WORK AT TEAM AUTOMOTIVE BUT THEY HAD EVERYONE UP THERE IN NORTH ORANGE. COUNTY. CITY OF BUENA PARK CALLING THEM "T.E.A.M. [H].O.N.D.A." ???
If you're wondering, Greg lost again at the end when he failed to double clutch, causing the welds to blow on his intake manifold. That's when I showed up in a misfiring 1995 Pontiac Sunfire and stole his gf.
This guy Greg is actually on the first fast and the furious movie when Paul walker blows the engine and Jesse lifts the hood up you see him standing behind vin diesel. Its even on his instagram page
this episode made me into a street racer and getting into the honda accord. had to quit when i realize i spent more money than everything. also getting my car stolen plenty time lol
This guy was actually IN the first Fast and Furious movie; he's in the background when Dom's giving Brian the whole "winning by an inch or a mile" speech.
This could have been a South Park Episode, she comes out in the garage Greg has pants down with Car, "Greg What are you Doing!? " ... Nothing , is that the phone ringing.
Take a break, and appreciate your girl friend. There is no end to wanting more horse power, and going faster.Do your research before spending hard earned money, and you'll have better results.
The bald guy was in the fast and the furious, you see him a few times in the crowd at the end of the first race in the movie when the whole "dude I almost had you" part was going on...
Why are people complaining? If you never been in street racing dont talk.Racers always push their cars to the limit, all of those cars are constantly broken.
that's how it was before the movies.. The director went to street races to see what it was like and that's how he got the atmosphere right in the first movie
Is nobody gonna comment on the fact he has a RIGHT HAND DRIVE car back then!?!?? The 25yr rule still applied back then so he did he get that car in the states?!??
1. because it doesnt take 20 grand 2. it takes 4 grand TOTAL to make a 90s honda civic run 13s naturally aspirated 3. your regal can't handle for shit and i bet it's automatic
ITB LSVTEC. I understand why it struggled to start or pull on that 2nd gen integra... If its not tuned properly, youre not gonna have fun. Or not enough air/fuel its not gonna win. Props to him though for winning on the second run. I think the car had a hiccup before hand.
