I am from the Philippines and this mall is out of this world. There is nothing comparable to this in the Philippines. Malls here are big but this one is insane and architecturally beautiful
@@micomarinas2753no, freedom of religion and freedom of speech is not existing in Iran No wonder why the Iran Mall is empty tho, you can observe obviously do not have any people to be as busy unlike your country in the Philippines Iran was ruled by the monarch (Pahlavi Dynasty) before 1979, then that year Iranian Revolution abolished the monarch rule then replaced by religious cleric of Shia muslim the leader Ruhollah Khomeini then established the Islamic Republic of Iran As the word itself Islamic Republic their laws based from Sharia Law or Islamic Law from the Quran No religion and freedom speech can be given to any person as a religious law context of theirs "blasphemy who dares challenge and disturb the teachings from the Quran or Sharia Law will be condemned or punished"
The only reason western companies don’t exist in that mall is cuz of the sanctions, if there were no sanctions I could guarantee you that there will be western companies.
@Richard yes technically Iran has no choice because the country is sanctioned, and because we are sanctioned we cannot have western companies inside the country
Actually I like this that there is no International food chains or other companies, this is a problem with American tourists around the world, they expect every one follow them, instead of buying McDonald's burgers or burger King while they have worst and lowest quality burgers in the world, full of chemicals, you can buy good quality burgers and fried chicken with lower price, I mean it's a positive point yeah? What's the problem with having other countries brands?
Honestly id visit the mall and really enjoy it because when visiting other countries i wouldnt care about shopping at their malls for zara or sephora but i want to indulge their culture like that food court, persian cinema, and local markets
That mall is already beautiful and stellar, but the fact that it lacks western brands and focuses on local ones , makes it one of the best if not the best mall in the world 😮
A wonderful tour and beautiful coverage inside the third or fifth largest mall in the world. It is an exciting thing when you see the local Iranian brands, their traditional Persian culture and their wonderful classical Islamic art. They really built themselves.
Iran is Truly a very smart Self sufficient Nation, big Respect,💗, Never relay on others because History showed us many time, That the west is not trustworthy, look what They did to Russia
If you're European then just apply for the visa. You'll get it. There's even visa on arrival which doesn't seem to be done properly. But you can get it I guess
Thanks Uptin. You have a background in tech & financial journalism too. Can you perhaps do a video about potential trade opportunities that could be established between Iran & the US in the future? Thanks and congrats on 100k (soon). I hear 100k --> 1 million is a lot easier. The hardest barrier is 0-100k.
Come to Toronto, Canada, there is little Iranian Plaza where you will feel in Iran, everything is written in Farsi, and most products are imported from Iran :)
It's amazing to see what the world (and especially Iran) is capable of without western influence. I hope Asian countries can be a part of this growth and we could see Korean, Thai, Chinese and other brands (locally adapted of course) make a mark and trade with Iran, which clearly has a lot to offer.
Can't stop LOL, bc even though i live in Europe and know the brands you mention, it is as if they didn't exist. it may sound weird for an American, but most of 8B-320M people do eat and buy different stuff!!! i love fish and right now i am in Northern Brazil and they have these wonderful fish that exist only here, I don't find any fish I eat in my country but I wouldn't say it's weird. It's just wonderfully different
in some way it may look like good but in other way no... for example we have a very big medical problem in trump times dispite the corona virus many died for not having acess to Imported drugs
No doubt that area will become the end of the silk route. So a great future for a great giant mall that wiki says is the largest shopping mall in the world.
Its better that there is no garbage dead food like O'macdonlds or low grade Starbucks...why should every mall be poisoned with those edibles. Its a stunningly beautiful shopping centre, a delight i'm sure to see some different variety... but i did recognise a european brand name on a shop. Whoever visits this place will enjoy the difference.
@@samjam6989 no not necessarily...since my initial comment i have found out that there are a few european brands on sale there...and anyway, there are popular brands on sale in the west that origionate from asia...not everything is european or from the americas in european shops, and some of those asian outlets are available in iran too... at the end of the day a white cotton tshirt is a white cotton tshirt, no matter where its origionaly from.
@@greenleaf8226 am just saying there is a lot of imitation when it comes to clothing brand in Iran. And European brands cant sell to Iran due to sanctions. Chinese brands can do whatever they like in Iran but not European or American brands.
@@samjam6989 where do you think most european brands are made??. Lets start at some top names: Versace has their stuff stiched in India... Channel has a factory in Egypt... Middle range: H&M have clothes factories in Bangladesh need i go on...??... its all the same clothes, only difference is that high end fashion houses, put finishing touches like hand sewn buttons, labels, border edgings... etc... on to clothes in their respective showrooms
@@greenleaf8226 material is different, supplied by the company. Quality control is different and how it is inspected. There are multiple things different, it not the same crap made with a different name. I have had comparisons of a fake and real brand name clothing and the quality, fit and finish is night and day. Then throw it in washing machine and see how they compare.
I'm wondering where all these products are made. They have Persian labels and are under Iranian brands, but where are all these products made/manufactured?
some OF THEM MADE IN IRAN WITH A western and eastern countree lisence but most of them are fully made in iran im so sorry for my english im still learning😅😅
Iran traditionally it's not a Mall country, because it has a lot of traditional beautiful bazaars which everyone shops there, the other malls in the world looks busier because lots of tourists visiting, unfortunately Iran limits tourists visiting Iran, it would be nice if they open the floodgates there are a lot of people like to visit that country
I found it really interesting in Iran that they seemed to have lots of fake American and European stores. Like there were apple stores, Adidas and food like KFC but with slightly altered branding. At first glance it looked the same, but on close inspection they were slightly different. I also remember going to a mall in Shiraz where almost every women's clothing store sold super skimpy clothing, which I found super amusing since it can't be worn in public there.
Crypto growth is absolutely the craziest I've ever witnessed! I have always hoped to invest in Shiba inu crypto one day but the thought of doing so without enough knowledge of thecrypto market makes the whole thing less attractive to me, One cannot afford to lose any money in this pandemic period.

I don't mean to burst people's bubbles but this mall is located in the worst place in the outskirts of the city and is too big with too little to offer to the average Iranian person as they are busy with the struggles of being Iranian. We can't give water to Chahar mahal bakhtiari, we can't support Sistan baluchestan's local economy, we can'y help the farmers who lost their fields due to hurricanes but somehow we have money for a luxurious mall.. although beautiful, this is a bloody embarrassment and a sign of centralized wealth and corruption!
I live in usa. I would never enter a McDonald's. Burger.k. occasionally Walmart. Rarely supermarkets. most products are cheap, harmful boring crap. As a mid Eastern & usa's love for Hitler face I'm afraid to enter restaurants, movies, concerts. Obsession with Germanic face is fanatical.
Sorry Uptin....i don't know what your familiar with...but when i visited this mall a while ago before the present problems...i saw some international brand names mainly German and far East Asian names...they are international famous names, but perhaps not known in the US.
