When I was in Iran as a tourist three times, between 2017 and 2019, people were very open about despising the government. I didn't even directly ask them because I didn't want to get them in trouble. Some even approached me as they saw I'm white (assuming I am a Westerner).

I have never understood why these Middle Eastern countries are always fighting or at war with one another.

Why can't we all just get along?

Peace for the children.
