I’m an Amazon delivery driver based out of Carle Place NY (Long Island). UPS is a very tough nut to crack because it’s a union job with great pay and benefits. I applied to be a package car driver at UPS but it didn’t get anywhere. Once you top out at UPS you make six figures a year easily. Obviously you need to pay your dues because you need four years of seniority to make the top rate of a driver. They have a pension plan and if you have 25 plus years of seniority then you get SEVEN WEEKS of paid vacation. That is crazy.
That’s not how a UPS tucks look when they are packed. Usually it’s full to the max with heavy packages in the walkway filling up the truck up to the top with bulk. The video looked like he had only one stop in the tuck probably a bulk of 100 or so witch no other driver could take.
