Literally every bit of your goal is what i did within 1 year of turo. I hit 94 vehicles and absolutely killing it. But very quickly hit a bunch of roadblocks. I have had more success on Turo than just about anyone i have met and have a ton of close kept information i will share soon. Good luck to you!
The thing I realised about business is that you've always got to be humble. Humble in the sense that you are willing to admit you don't always have it figured out, and can always benefit from good advice. Stay thirsty for knowledge out there peeps. Thanks Ryan for this brilliant content.
I’ve been in cars sales, mechanical and body work for 7 years. We will see how these turo side hustled end up in the next 2 years. This business model does not work. With maintainance and the amount of time it takes most to drop off cars and pick up it’s not worth it. Plus when big issues come up it’ll be quite expensive to do timing belts, water pumps, belts, suspension, tires and much more. This guy might not do too bad only because he’s near airport now.
This car side hustle idea is brilliant, and the fact that he lives near the airport helps a lot with the volume of customers. Informative video you got here, Ryan!
I did Turo when i was in university. I had 4 cars 2 mini coopers 1 BMW and 1 Infiniti. I was doing it in around 2017 before it was just starting to scale. Good times! a really cool side hustle if you like talking to people and if you like cars. Don't get mechanic transmission lol people rent those to learn how to drive stick and try to cater to the richer audience they are less likely to mess with the cars and you get more $$
@@revirdkcalb I graduated and started working at a startup 60+ hours doing pick ups and drops offs was getting hard so I chose career. I was also running a small eBay store flipping stuff. That’s how I paid for school lol ….looking back now I feel like I would have enjoyed life more with more freedom, starting an agency now and quitting my full time. Chase your dreams and fail and learn and do it again!
When I search on Turo app and in Las Vegas airport, I see cars have on average 3-4 trips per month. I'm wondering how many number of days does it calculate to on an average?
I'm 37 qnd and have been doing lawncare for the last 9 years. I make between 1500-2000 a week . I became a millionare through it and I could retire but I'm just gonna keep doing it.
Depends what tax bracket you're in. You pay taxes on dividend income. And it will take a substantial amount of time and money to make a good monthly/quarterly draw Really depends on ones situation
This is crazy to watch. I work in Hawthorne California and my boss has a big operation out there and does the largest hosting in TURO. Crazy stuff man.
Just as in real estate you set aside percentages from rent for capex, repairs, maintenance etc, what and how much should you set aside for turo? Obviously each car needs eventual new tires and oil change etc, what percentage is set aside from income designated towards those items?
The TURO "rental business model" is a great business for those building a REAL business. Insurance, the proper licensing, branding, drivers/renters properly licensed and screened. This business model is for those who want to build a PROPER SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS THE RIGHT WAY FOR THE LONG TERM. This is NOT for the faint of heart or those who believe they can cut corners.
interested in his ebook, but there's no mention of it, or his socials, in the video or links to them in the description. if you can... please provide. thanks.

@@Aragon714 a sound exit strategy is the key to success. Holding on to cars for too long, weakens your fleet with age, miles, depreciation and you can risk being underwater, especially with this serious business disadvantage I've mentioned in my previous comment about accident reporting for turo claims.
weird interview. could tell he was trynna lil bro him the whole time .. called his work area “little” then when he said he prefers to say big he calls it little again

Personally I wouldn’t take the disrespect of throwing his towels like that. Lol everyone scales differently, no need to do anything somebody else says if you don’t agree with.
As someone who has several friends who rented C8s on Turo here’s a valuable piece of advice. They are beautiful cars but don’t get attached to it. If it’s totaled insurance will replace it. I know it sounds obvious, but don’t go through unnecessary stress in the event it happens. People who can’t drive crash sports cars all the time. It’s almost not even a matter of if it will happen, but when.
You probably have your own shop, or have your own ppl. This isn’t realistic for someone who’s just getting started. In the event, the guest crashes your car, you forfeit the right to sue them the moment you sign up for the terms of service. Turo is not the best platform you’re better off renting your car yourself getting your own insurance. Oh and your personal car insurance will not cover anything if the car damage occurs turo. Don’t forget to leave out the cons bro….
I had my c300 mercedes on in honolulu and almost every single renter caused some type of scratch dent rip broken button steering wheel. And turo gives you a hard time going through the claims i got paid but only half the damages and it was a hassle
Hey Ryan, I follow westcoastdave, he’s awesome always responds to questions. I saw when your video when you rented one of his cars. I think he can scale to at least 50 cars too! Love how you pour into other Entrepreneurs. I can’t wait to leave my 9-5 and be my own Boss. Saw the link below to the ebook and had to support!
