A big thank you for the hint to possibly go up a size in the jacket. A lovely top and nice and bright, but I wonder just how long it will hold up to lightly loaded running pack? I am guessing Montane designed it with that it mind? But it's so light and thin.

Montane do like to keep things snug, especially in their running ranges. It will stand up to a reasonable amount of use with a loaded pack, but as with anything this light it will be limited by the fabrics as to just how durable it is. A running vest style pack is a better option as it will reduce the load friction compared to a more traditional pack.

The only reason we tend not to include price in the video itself is that it changes season on season. There's always a link in the description where you can shop it on our website if you'd like.

I'd guess it's because a vest could encompass anything from a lightweight cotton vest that you might wear to bed to a bulky insulated one to wear outdoors. A gilet is specifically an insulated vest, so would make it easier to find if searching on Google.

@@trekitt Arh i see, thank you. Must be something with the language: In Danish a vest(spelled and pronounced in the same way as in English) is a garment worn to keep warm, i dont think it matters if that is a thin one for bedtime or a thick one for outdoor, a vest is a vest and i dont hink we have word for a Gilet specifically. Its like the crop corn, in Europe corn is what americans calls cereals, while corn is what we call maize. Language is a interesting thing.
