Yasmine He doesn't pay rent, he owns the property and has a "roommate" (his friend) living with him. Unless he has the house under a mortgage and his friend helps out with making those repayments, I highly doubt it with the amount of earnings Nyjah has made over the last few years.

I like marble too, but quartz countertops are more practical. Moms know. She did well helping with the reno of his house. It's a nice house. Really like the livingroom window.

I don't understand why so many people hate on this kid. He's earned his house and everything while there's people that hardly skate yet want to critique him. I guess people just hate people that are winning in life. Edit: Just came back to this comment & realised this post got a lot of traction. I thank you guys for all the likes and would like clarify that I respect all your opinions on the matter. I would just say that you don't have to like him, but I think a lot of people aren't giving him a fair shake and don't know him personally. The message i'd like to say is you can't really judge a book by it's cover, and I think it's good to give people the benefit of the doubt. BTICronox it’s a matter of taste. Rodney is the Eminem of skateboarding, very tech and high level. That’s dope, but he’ll never have the style of nyjah, though he paved the way. I’m not saying nyjah is better, I’m saying why compare? They both obviously have a their place in skating. Rodney is the OG, everyone knows this.

I remember skating with Nyjah at his mom's old indoor skate park in Sac when we were kids. Him and his brothers were always there, and Nyjah was always the quiet little kid with dreads that was better than anyone else. I'm glad to see how far he's come. Haters can hate, but he's a humble guy that is enjoying his life to the fullest. I doubt he remembers me, but I wish him the best in life.

This was definitely one of my favorite Open House clips. Nyjah's place looks stylish yet incredibly inviting while also incorporating his own personal flare. Aside from that, the dude just exudes a very friendly and calm humbleness. I remember watching him as a young grom thinking, this kid is going places. Stoked for your well deserved successes, Nyjah. love how this man was only somewhat involved with the house design, but when it came to the skatepark new the dimensions and design features in detail. Good reminder that you should focus on the stuff that interests you and not be afraid to relinquish or delegate the things you're less interested in. Result beautiful house, and what i can only assume is a super fun skate park.

agressive - If I'm being honest, mostly because I'm jealous of his life. But also because I find him to be overly cocky. He also has bitched about his upbringing too much in interviews for my liking. Plus he wins way too many competitions. Kinda sucks the fun out of watching them. I'll admit my reasons for wanting to hate are stupid but there they are.

He’s a young guy who travels a lot for his job and has an amazing house, it actually makes sense for him to have a roommate (to keep an eye on the house, etc). Plus in the master bath there was only personal stuff at one sink and very few products in the shower, no way a woman lives there.

I didn’t know who he was and am impressed with his success. I’m a local and LB is a beautiful place to live. His dedication to the sport is admirable. The sacrifice, and there always is at least one, is his physical body and the injuries which hopefully won’t limit him too much later in life.
