A big shoutout to all the Brazilians 🇧🇷 on the platform, You all have been very nice and helpful throughout my sejour. I can’t express much thanks as everyone I’ve met have been as good and helpful. A lot of stereotypes on the internet that needs to be addressed. In every country there are good and bad stories, It doesn’t change the fact that there are still very good people who exist and we’re still yet to know of! The good thing about living in big cities is you can find people who speak English but on the other hand it's a lot more dangerous than living in small cities. I hope you have an incredible experience here in Brazil :)

Indeed perfectly correct, ✅ I mostly get people who speak English in public places like shopping areas, airport, hospitals etc, I’ve heard about florianopolis which is also quite conducive for foreigners living.

Man, it's hard to find Brazilians who can communicate in English. Being from Brazil myself, I can tell you that even though most of my fellow Brazilians can hardly speak English, they will try their best to help you find the places you want to see. Even though most are friendly and helpful, there are the bad ones. Please be careful when you ask around for help. Those who can't understand or speak English could use ChatGpt to help them communicate with you. I'm so glad the guy on the bus was able to help you. Que legal que vocês estão amando o Brasil. Sãio Paulo is a fast-paced city. The traffic jam can overwhelm you. Conheci seu canal quando estava assistindo vídeos do Japão, porque falo japonês também. Aí apareceu seu canal. Cool bro, but I’ve also met a lot of locals in São Paulo who speak some English, maybe not perfect but communication and good to get around. I’ll say the traffic situation isn’t bad compared to other countries, streets well organized and the beauty of the small streets and cute little cars is astounding.

@@absiyehassan36 Yes, and to make things even worse, our education system doesn't help either. English at public schools is far behind compared to private ones. Yesterday night I got an Uber to get home and during my chat with the driver along the way, he told me he had spent some time living in the States. So, we decided to switch our chat to English. He can also speak Spanish. So, the ride was all in English. Only 2% of the folks can speak English fluently. I hope this changes because those who can't speak or understand are missing out on many job opportunities. Not to mention a higher level of education. That's really sad.

Hi Mike, I’m Brazilian living in the United Kingdom, I’m a big fan of yours. I would suggest you to visit the Feira da Liberdade, it’s a tourist attraction place, surrounded by Asian culture, you can find many Asians restaurants.

I’m not trying to imply that everyone who lives in the Favelas are bad people, but there are areas where recording is not welcomed for various reasons, so a knowledgeable guide will be extremely helpful!! Overall, it’s amazing to see how the people live in the Favelas and the culture and unity they have there! Also, the food and drinks in the small restaurants in the Favelas are awesome!! Quase todo país no qual a lingua Inglesa não é oficial, funciona da mesma forma. Sou de Moçambique e o número de pessoas com fluencia em inglês é bastante minúsculo também.

Disseram-me que o inglês não é ensinado nas escolas e as pessoas têm de aprender por conta própria, razão pela qual a maioria dos locais não fala inglês. Será uma vantagem se as escolas no brasil ensinarem inglês, pelo menos o básico, na China quase todas as escolas ensinam inglês como segunda língua a partir do jardim de infância.

Mano Mike tenha muito cuidado em lugares que você vai ai em São Paulo. Infelizmente tem muitos roubos de celulares e etc. As vezes os ladrões te matam por simplesmente se assustar. Fora isso seja muito bem-vindo ao nosso país. ✌️
