Glad you like your Kontiki, ours was also tag a 675, we loved the layout which is why our new van has the same layout. We had real problems with the dealers inability to sort anything out so we sold it back to them! enjoy Wales.

@@motoringmasons Ah thanks for the reply, yes our layout is the same as yours (love the beds) 884, at the moment our North Wales favourite is a premier park called Bron y wendon, with beautiful see views, for the large vans, and with the car (we also have a vw up) a visit to Llandudno is a must you'll love it, we live in South Wales but love it up north. X.

Yes they do. Our model is i61XL LE. The LE is our bed layout and the queen bed is QB instead.

If you get one you will not regret it. As for bespoke sites, we use all types as one of the advantages of the van,especially with the black holding tank, is that we can stay up to 6 days without emptying. Tranquil Parks are good, adults only sites. We have not been to Concierge but it looks good. We use Caravan and Motorhome Club sites a lot and all have black waste drops but to be honest we have done everything, even the occassional lay-by if we have been stuck. Europe has been easy even without booking. We have had some great sites, but there has been the odd one we would not touch again and one in Spain where we drove in and straight out again!

Quite agree the difference is quite marked.

We used Southdowns in Portsmouth who have been very good. Personal service and they have looked after us. It obviously depends where you live but I have heard good reports from European Motorhomes in Cannock. There seem to have been some good extra things on the 2025 model, I do hope you go for it and love it as much as we do.

Yes the garage is bigger so we can get our KTM motorbike in. There is a cushion so we can make one big bed!

That holds cameras and sensors which the vehicle uses for lane control,adaptive cruise, etc. It is quite amazing the van will follow at a distance, brake for you and speed up etc, a bit scary until you try it but then you can trust it.

@@startaylor123 IT'S ok on the whole. A few times we have brushed the hedges but only gently and no damage, don't be put off it's there to be used and enjoyed.

Yes 2 solar panels on the roof, an 1850w invertor and two lithium batteries. This is an extra package for extended off grid living, but to be honest it's not the only advantage as the lithium batteries are far better and can run really low without dropping current and are less liable to damage as a lead acid or gel battery is if it goes flat. The system along with the B2B is very good.

Congratulations, I bet you can't wait that was the worst bit for us. Biggest tip is just to enjoy it and get to know it, but a few more practical ones follow. I am assuming it is on an Iveco chassis for some of my comments. It is a complicated piece of kit and the handover is long. Video the handover it helps to be able to go back to bits of it, but you will probably need more than one battery or mobile phone, it takes ages. You get lots of instruction books etc and it has helped us to go through them and photocopy the most useful bits and put them in a handy smaller folder for ease of reference, you will need them, including the meaning of the dash lights. The first thing we were told was not to lock ourselves out, like many commercial vehicles it has an autolock when you have been out of the van a little while to stop theft on deliveries so make sure you have a spare key on you or the RFID tag, although the latter has been known to fail ( common fault which I think they have now fixed). If it is a right hand drive Iveco the height controls for the rear airbags, which are standard, are behind and below the camera and you cannot see them. These were not pointed out to us but they are important as they change the height for loading, ferries etc and if left on low they can mean you catch the spare wheel carrier. They can also give you a dash warning saying don't drive! Make sure you know how to use these. We have had a few teething problems but the dealers have been great and all sorted out. Make sure you give it a good shake down but above all ENJOY! If you have any questions feel free to get in touch or rewatch our videos. Sha

Good choice. Same as ours except the chassis. We tow so wanted twin wheel rather than tag axle and the extra payload, but otherwise its pretty identical , you'll love it!

Aquatabs. They are made for boats primarily but also caravans etc if you cannot get them from a caravan accessory shop all chandlers sell them.

Nice van, we looked at both but this one ticked all of our boxes. Difficult to say which is best between two excellent vans.

@@powderpuff1964 Roads are good in France but yes lots of tolls, you can avoid them but honestly better to just pay sometimes. Spain has far less and they are cheaper.
