So Riley _literally_ gets overtaken by Anxiety, leading to Joy and the other emotions being suppressed, so now Joy has to lead them back to Riley for the sake of her emotional health. Oh this ought to be good
I thought he was already like that. For instance, when Riley was a toddler, Fear had her carefully step over the electrical cord while running around the house.
@@SweetPipsqueak yeah, but he did it in a more frantic panic the closer he got to the chord. Now he fixes his bow tie and says "let's get our mouth guard, people!" like he's a wall between safety and the outside world, and the door in that wall is called "compliance"
That's wrong on so many levels! It's not just suppressing emotions, it's a prison for emotions! How would they like it if someone put them in a jar like that? Emotions are supposed to balance and work together, not suppress each other.
Yo... Imagine if they make another in college! Basically becoming like a toy story 😂 and ending it in the third movie by adding a little bit of more darker elements of adult life... Aaaaaaand then making a pointless 4th sequel.
Psychonauts taught us that: if you try to completely suppress your undesirable feelings, they'll build and BUILD and eventually EXPLODE !💥🤯 Also shows that like the first movie, the emotions are the problem, not for getting in the way, but for not being able to express all parts of the whole. This movie will probably focus on change & emotional balance.
Ennui is not what I expected. I expected a grumpy old man. But I guess an indifferent teenager laid on a couch messing with his cell phone makes way more sense 🤣
No, but perhaps managed better and more cooperatively. Maybe the "newer" ones end up having jobs that more backroom instead of in control at the main panel.
None of the five original emotions are negative. The whole point of the first movie was that all of them were important to be a healthy and happy person.
My biggest complaint (and it’s a very minor one) is that we didn’t get to see the whole gang working together for very long, I’m super excited for this!
I was 7 years old when the first one came out and I loved it then and I still love it! I’m 16 now and I am super excited for this movie! I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since the first movie!
It's been over 8 years since the first movie came out. I was 5 at the time, now I'm 14. I'm very excited to watch this movie because I feel I may relate to it on a very high level which is sort of what I need right now. 💖💖
This movie will be something else, I truly hope it stays fun, fantastic, and endearing to the hearts and souls that made it popular. On behalf of the team at Pixar I say thank you for supporting inside out 2!
I'm so excited for this sequel especially the new emotions. Embarrassment is die to be a major emotion, along side anxiety ,and riley's relationships with be further tested.
Anxiety: Riley's life requires more sophisticated emotions than all of you Me: what's that supposed to mean how are any of you new emotions more sophisticated then Joy Sadness Fear Disgust and Anger
I like how Sadness found another thing that made her smile. First was the "Imaginary boyfriend", and now Embarrassment. They both wear sweaters to comfort themselves and they can feel the same. Only Sadness would cry when she feels upset or thinks she did something wrong, while Embarrassment would figuratively shrink, want to hide, blush, and regret what they did.
JOY: And that’s it. We love our girl and she’s got great new friends and great new house. Things couldn’t be better. After all, Riley is 13 now. What could happen?

Anxiety taking control isn't just accurate it's too real. My highschool years were the worst cause i would literally worry about everything. Then by graduation i finally started to mellow out again.
Dude the way this came out when I was in middle school and Riley was the same age and now the second one comes out and she’s in high school and I already graduated lol
I’m actually so exciting for this✨ i watched this movie when I was a kid and I’m now I’m a teen and I love how new emotions come into play CANT wait for this movie!!!✨
It will probably be. Instead of showing why sadness is important they'll teach that anxiety is also necessary but harmful if we let it take over. And then the rest of emotions will be trying to go back to head quarters from the suppressed regions of the mind. So yeah, basically the same lol
I think sadness might still be in long term just somewhere else. Because we see embarrassment pick her up with the rest of the group and we also see her in the jar
I love that it’s kind of growing with us! These are very grown up emotions, I wonder if it will bode well with kids though, I’m not sure they would really understand the new emotions
That's the point of these movies: to help kids understand their new emotions It's like how the first movie taught that negative emotions can't always be ignored and need to be embraced in order for kids to mature. This time, the lesson is (most likely) that not all emotions are simple and it takes work and communication to balance everything out.
