@@JonSoloi like how they show that envy isn't necessarily bad objectively. It's just about how you go about the emotion, which applies to all of them I suppose but I think it was important to show the audience it's okay to want and admire. There's more great stuff about the movie but I want to stay on topic
Haven't watched the new movie. But I will say, I am very, very glad they only used 5; I have emotional blindness, and it helps me to understand emotions better (although fear and disgust tend to, uh, "feel" similar, so that one still confuses me).
@@A13XLaircey I’m sorry for having to ask this but although it confuses me, but this is apart of your life but. How does fear and disgust feel the same? I may have both feeling at the same time like looking at some Grotesque super monster but that’s about it. What is that in your own word.
@@Crossing-Blades That's kinda hard to describe, but disgust makes you aversive because of a perceived threat, that is usually (but not always) caused by the fear of uncleanliness. But because this can also apply to things that do not pose hygiene issues (such as spiders or needles), they seem similar. Maybe being on an airplane doesn't feel like it is gross or grotesque, but disgust is definitely behind racism, for instance, but there is also fear as well. Is it true that disgust is mainly about what you know 100%, but fear is always unknown? (In which case social phobia is fear, but needle phobia should not be fear if you know you will get a bruise and pass out, and shout in pain when it goes in.)
That wouldn't be, because they are said to be background characters you see walking around. Despite the big number of 27 emotions they wouldn't have tried to make the all talk and have relevance to the plot, they would have just been in the background.
I feel like her new design fits the emotion better Since being envious of someone is like seeing someone through the eyes of a child thinking they're so cool
The fact the original mentioned 27 emotions meaning the others are still haven't been promoted to headquarters yet like Nostalgia in Inside Out 2... Meaning we still have atleast 9 official emotions out of 27 or probably more
Noooooo the short term memory loss storyline seems so good though, but I think that the producers wanted to have it be more relatable and touch more hearts because when I watched it as a teenager, I cried. I wouldn’t cry if it was a memory loss trope, but that would’ve been amazing anyway.
I am really glad that Inside Out turned out the way it did and the main focus of the story was Riley trying to adjust to a new home after she moved which is part of life and Joy retrieving her core emotions that make us who we are. 💛❤💙💜💚
I don’t like the idea of any of the emotions being a villain because the whole point of Inside Out is that emotions aren’t bad and it’s okay to not be happy all the time.
Gloom was also originally supposed to be a villian for inside out, being there to create negative thoughts in Riley's mind, but thos was ultimately scrapped
I swear to god Envy looks like a cunning and manipulative villain and I love it I would like to see him for once in the movie also Greed included her design is so Great!
inside out 2 is out guys! the names of the characters are.. 1.Envy(a little girl) 2.Embarrassment(a big guy that has pink skin) 3.Ennui(Ennui means your bored) 4.Anxiety(The orange character) I hope the others see this! (or the others know this if the others already know about this, just like if you know it!)
Honestly, I think the head trauma concept could work for an Inside Out 3. It would be tonely different from the 1st 2 films, but it could be about Riley having anything before losing it all with a bad head injury during a hockey game, and the film can be about Riley and her emotions recovering from the injury. Lots of concepts can be explored here, like a broken down version of Rileys mind, broken memories everywhere, and one of my personal favorite ideas, a place where all the forgotten memories goes. This will be where all of Rileys forgotten memories would go. Not sure what the plot would be about, but I think it could work.
oh my gosh, the head trauma scenario... that would've hit me so hard. i've had multiple concussions hitting my head during seizures and syncope episodes, and most times, i don't where i am, what i'm doing, and sometimes i forget who my parents or sister are. it's terrifying. i would've cried so much harder, i'm kinda glad they didn't go that route lol ;-;
I think there should've been another emotion i made up called Confusion. Grey and slightly deformed fear shaped but a 3rd arm and a weirdle shaped head
