he was a absolute stud at uga. had 1st round potential but had serious trouble staying healthy and one of his 2 healthy seasons he was splitting time at corner which he was a beast at to
I met him randomly in Miami back in later December in 2013, i was on vacation going to see the Pats vs Dolphins game in a day or two and ran into him at a mall, he denied who he was at first but when i told him i was a Pats fan he opened right up. He could not have been nicer. He talked to me for awhile, recognized my Canadian accent immediately, took pictures, it was incredible as a pats fan to experience. He is just as down to earth as you could imagine. I hope you can meet him someday too.
I love this organization. I’m a die hard born and bred 49er fan but I was 6 years old when I remember watching TB12 in his first super bowl. I’ve been a fan ever since. Imagine how I feel after y’all gave us Jimmy G? Go Pats! #LFG #QuestForSix #TB12
Joe Gil I’m from Rhode Island and could give a damn about any other teammates except New England. But growing up I was a niners fan because of young and rice. My second and only other team I still root for. Sad to see Jimmy go but happy at the same time
lol, atleast you admit to riding the bandwagon unlike every other pats fan. im 30 and grew up in ct, i met 1 pats fan when i was younger. everyone was a dallas fan, or your ny team fans. then fast forward to today there are 90% patriots "fans" and 10% giants fans. hell i even went to a partiots football camp as a kid, i used to like them as a 2nd team because nobody did, it was my own little hipsterish side team. i hear it is basically the same on the west with seattle.
Who would of though that this rookie was a huge reason we won the Super Bowl. Made big catches during that comeback including a third down were he slipped and fell. Still caught it
Jhonathan White Good drafting, good spending, not afraid to make big moves, finding players who arent good or arent wanted and finding value in them, everyone contributes, consistency in coaching and at qb, and gameplanning
They didn't pick Randy Moss. And comparing him to Moss in any way is ridiculous. By the way, they drafted Gronk after they traded for Moss. Much better player than Mitchell.
Aaron Dobson also looked good in his rookie year. Where is he now? Let's wait and see. And the fact that he has one more ring than Moss is 100% irrelevant. What a silly thing to bring up. Replace Mitchell in that Superbowl with Randy Moss and New England probably wins the game in regulation by two TDs,
No, it isn't "silly" to bring up his name. I did it to make a point. Which is that a decent rookie season guarantees nothing. Not sure why I would need to explain that. I don't really get the sense that logic is your strong suit. Secondly, I can't know any such thing with an absolute degree of certainty. But it is reasonable to draw the conclusion that had you replaced Mitchell with one of the most dominant, game changing WRs in the history of the game that that talent upgrade would have resulted in a TD or two. The same way you would rationally conclude that were Tom Brady replaced by a decent, but not great, rookie QB the Pats probably lose that game. And what the hell are you talking about, 0-3 in the Super Bowl? Now you are just making shit up? Moss appeared in one SuperBowl with New England and then, after being out of football for a year, in the last year of his career, played in one with Baltimore when he was a shell of himself. And Randy Moss was not the reason either of those teams lost. I'm not sure you know what the word "fact" means. But this is going nowhere and getting tiresome. Logic is not as difficult as you make it look. Try harder.
Why would you want to trade him? Our QB is 40. I understand that they might have to. But wanting to is insane. Very good chance this kid turns into a top five or top ten QB.
Kelvin Jackson Do you know how businesses operate? This is not a kindergarten soccer team. Get with it. Until you prove yourself, you are not going to get accolades from a billion-dollar company.
