Actually they have no choice but to do those. British people pay them tax for this purpose. I appreciate celebrities more because they aren't expected to do those charities bit they still do it , maybe even for fame but still they are doing something when they are not expected to.

She is patron of a charity called Action on Addiction and has been since 2012. last June (2020) she made a virtual visit to the charity and while being being welcomed Kate mentioned that it had been a while since she had visited, "yes" said the staff member, " your last visit was in 2012." That's true! With the other royals they are talking about the cause itself; with meghan it's all about her and what's she's done and her achievements. It might have been acceptable as a Hollywood celebrity but it sounds self-centred, impolite and arrogant here.

She is saying all the things she has worked on regarding women's health and empowering women (she's a UN advocate for young woman and has worked all over the world for that) but this Heads Together foundation is completely new to her and she has done nothing at that time. She says all she has done is meet with people involved with the organization. But she is also saying everything she has done in the past (which she explains what that was) and how she has approached all the work she has done... she believes it will be helpful as she embarks on this new project that Harry, Kate and William started.

Amanda, it’s been 10 years, a decade. She’s been allowed to be at the forefront of her charity work. She honestly is not a public person. Not trying to be cynical, as I’m not a public person either. But Kimberly’s comment is spot on. I honestly think at this point public speaking is just too overwhelming and stressful for her. I don’t think she will do just fine when dealing with the public. You’ve got to be real with the situation. I feel for her because her position as future queen of a powerful country like the UK is demanding.
