I am making a camper out of a Ford Transit moving van box car with garage in back under bed for my KTM 500 EXC, it even has a 750kg lifting backdoor. This video gave me several ideas how to do things myself, a tent with some sort of mats on ground for working on the bike outside is a great way to do it (no fun loosing a bolt or other small parts on the ground among gravel and never find it again).
Eye-opening to see all the parts laid out didn't know this amount of prep and tools were needed. Host reminds me of my uncle, and please, DO NOT REPLY WITH THE LINK TO YOUR HUSKY RIG
Gutter Guard in the background at 6:07 (KTM 6 days edition I'm sure) - bike setup showing the same gutter guard at 6:54 - even the pros love Lowes for bike stuff!
It’s for both, to keep things out which can lead to bending or breaking off your lever. And no they haven’t been around for decades , not on the market anyway. 10years ago we were making them for our minis.
What happens to all the factory bikes that get dumped end season, how do I buy one? I see people selling practice bikes on Craigslist but they're mostly exorbitantly priced not to mention clapped out... Thanks!
Come on everyone leave the host alone one person goes off on the host and every other comment is about the host. Hey at least he is there, at least he got the job to do that and this is dirt biking not PGA Golf!😂 But anyways must be nice to be a pro everything is free and you get top of the line everything!
man i'd like to have a set up like that to live in with my daily driver truck and my dirt bike inside as well. But i'm a Rockstar Energy drink fan so no red bull for me please.
i think it was in 2017 during the week of redbud, KTM parked this rig at my shops engineers house and people in the neighborhood called and complained that it was blocking their view and they had to move it lol. the RnD guy at my shop is friends with the driver so i got the inside scoop on shit with the team months in advance, like ryan dungey retiring. i was told he was planning on taking decosters spot and obviously that never happened but now hes got a stake in geico honda so its kinda the same shtick i guess edit: whoops this isnt the motocross rig but still. should have watched the video first lol
Great presentation and absolutely love the energy, wants me to go out and get my job done with my camper van project so I can go on tour with my KTM 500 EXC on the road :) (just hope the corona hysteria die down so I can actually get out of this horribly expensive fascistic shithole country called Norway)
I'd prefer cheaper rigs and cheaper bikes. We all pay for this largesse. Racers still raced 50 years ago without all this. Dudes in old diesel Mercedes driving all over Europe.
I just watched Toby Price give e tour of the KTM truck for Rally Raid. Toby's tour was no froth and bubble no bull shit just a good look. Why has this bloke got to degrade KTM's work here with all this bullshit?
