Dr. Rony Kallarackal and his wife, Maya, took on the challenge of renovating this old house, aiming to keep its charm while adding contemporary elements. The renovation design is a captivating mix of materials and textures, combining modern and traditional elements. Wood features prominently, adding warmth through rafters, veneers, and bespoke furniture. Natural stones, columns, and clay roofing tiles contribute to an earthy, timeless feel. Custom jallie works enhance privacy and aesthetics. By refurbishing existing structures while preserving their traditional identity, the project honors heritage with thoughtful design choices. The Muttom Residence is a beautiful blend of past and present, creating a harmonious space where history and innovation coexist.
