I actually thought that place had closed down. It used to be renowned for bikies and could get rather rough. 24-25 years ago (when I was 18-19) I had Indian neighbours and they loved the place. I often tagged along. We would buy a bottle of bourbon and some coke, when we wanted a drink we would go to the back of their car rather than spending a lot more at the bar, yes I know it was wrong but they were shouting so what could I really say lol. When I did go alone I would buy at the bar and I would always sit and tip. It has changed a hell of a lot since I was going that's for sure and from memory it only had the 1 stage, we could also request songs back then lol. There was one dancer back then I loved to watch and talk with off stage, she was more Gothic and that was my thing back then as well, can't remember her name though.

Mate I first went to seftons when I was 16/17yr with my boss every Friday for lunch. I think it was $50 for a beer, snitty and a lap dance 😂😂 was before they renovated so it was a seedy looking shit hole but the snitty was cracka. 👌 I’ve also been in there one father day night on a bender with the boys and bumped into the mum of a girl I went to school with who was a bit of a milf. Til she went for a spin on the pole and lost her grip and flew off the stage and over the chairs around the stage before finally ending her show with a full scorpion landing with her feet over her shoulders in perfect scorpion form 😂😂😂 dj full stopped the music and was so funny. She hit that hard it like instantly sobered her up and she grabbed her shit and ran to the toilet. And yes I took her home and got to live my childhood fantasy was the best Father’s Day ever

No idea why this video came up on my recommendations but I'm glad it did. I have a good memory of this place. Me and my mates had just turned 18 in 2001/2002 at the end of school. We had heard so much about this Sefton Playhouse, for some reason, so we decided to make it our first strip club. There were 4 of us; me, Dave, Sam and Johnny. We walk in, Johnny sees a poster of something and touches. He accidentally rips a small part of it and is IMMEDIATELY kicked out. We literally just walked in. Being the young idiots we were, me, Sam and Dave stayed and left Johnny in the car where, unbeknownst to us, he drank one and a half bottles of Johhnie red, straight. Anyway, I remember having my mind blown at seeing all these naked chicks. I tried to play it cool but my eyes were the size of dinner plates. Anyway, we all get a private show and Sam..... released in his pants. So he goes to the car to clean up. Dave went to the bar and, for some reason, I ended up playing pool with the stripper who just gave us a private show, for some reason. So I get a call from Sam saying I need to go back to his car. Dave was already there almost blind drunk, I don't know how, he must have smashed hard liquor in the time I was playing pool? Johnny is GOOOOOONE. I think he was passed out and we were worried he may have died but he was breathing, thankfully. Then Dave starts throwing up everywhere. Sam and I are the only ones sober at this point, we decide to go to Maccas to get something greasy. Sam is tending to Johnny, keeping him upright and giving him water. I'm walking Dave around who about 3 feet taller than me. We drop Johnny off at his house and he stumbles in the door, he is his mum's problem, and then we drop Dave off at his house. He lies down and on his front door and his mum comes out losing her shit. She gives us an earful and we leave. My first and only experience with a strip club haha.
