She is REALLY heavy handed with those items. She's handling them like she's going through her veggies in the freezer. Just leaving the bags open and putting them to the side. Wowwww.
Hayes said he took out that large diamond to make Ginger engagement ring because Elvis wanted one made when he wanted it and they couldnt get a diamond that fast,,,, so it was decided to temporarily use that diamond til they got another to replace it,,,, and Hayes says he put in a cz that he says was never replaced with another diamond.
Seriously so worried that kids these days won't ever know just how important Elvis was and is to music!! Although I haven't gotten to go to Graceland "yet" I love these videos!!
The "He Ain't Heavy father, he's my Brother" card is of particular interest as it's an indication of one of the Charities that Elvis was apparently donating to at that time. - "Nebraska Boys Town", an organization that helped kids It's listed in the paperwork of Graceland archives (as I'm sure Angie is aware of) as one of the organization's Elvis was donating to. I just didn't know he was donating to them as early as 57. It's an absolutely wonderful charity and has been in existence for over a hundred years I believe. Very cool to know Elvis was carrying a card in his wallet as a Memento of that organization back then. Many of us in Elvis world are familiar with the great line from 'Luke The Drifter poem Elvis recited on stage in 1970 - "Help your Brother along the way...." "He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother" similar sentiment. One that obviously resonated with Elvis through the years
I didn’t know that the center stone was a CZ…he had the original 11.5 carat diamond taken out to make Ginger Alden’s engagement ring and the jeweller didn’t have a replacement diamond for it so he put in a CZ stone and Elvis died before he could change it back….interesting!
I love getting to see Elvis' things , but I have to admit it make me sad too . I wish he was still here wearing all of these things . Thank you Angie for sharing this video with us !! I love it !! ❤❤❤
A 16 karat diamond ring owned by arguably the most important icon of the 20th century wrapped in paper and put inside a plastic bag it seems absurd to me, that's not taking care of business.
I agree with one of the comment below, I don’t know what I prefer: the Elvis’stuff (more on rings please, Elvis jewelry is fascinating !) or you Angie! You are really pretty, charismatic and heartwarming (I love how you say: « how cool is that ? » and « stay healthy », it’s lovely. I caught the Covid19 and it’s something that is pretty hard to deal with depending on the moment. When I feel a little better, I watch your videos, I watch you and it brings some relief. THANKS ANGIE for such a wonderful idea (if you look for an assistant, here I am :-)
Hi Angie love that T C B ring Man I'd love to be able to look through Elvis's belongings You have the most awesome job seriously Thanks for the awesome videos Stay safe and well Miss Angie 🦋😃
What is the person with the camera supposed to do? Stop breathing 😳 these are impromptu recordings while everyone is in lockdown 🙄not supposed to be super duper high quality
Will you show the box with hats sometime? It was to the right of jewelry. Elvis had the most fabulous wardrobe of anyone, EVER and also neat hats. Would love to see. Thank you so much for this treasure.
I am confused as to this ring she is showing, did they replace the diamond or is it cubic zirconium because the original diamond was taken out to place into a engagement ring for Ginger. I heard they never got around to replacing the stone so how was it on his finger?
Lowell Hays couldn’t find a diamond that size over night for Elvis to surprise Ginger with the ring so he took the one from the TCB ring and replace the one in the TCB ring with a CZ and the diamond was never replaced with a real one in Elvis TCB ring.
"let's see if we can find anything else interesting".....LOL !! everything in that room is interesting, just take it out and show and tell. what a great video.
It is pronounced Bear County...but spelled Bexar...that is from San Antonio, Texas. My home town. BTW: It should be stated that the original diamond was taken from this ring and made into Ginger's engagement ring and this from what I hear ... a Cubic Zirconia now.
Thank you so much for sharing all these videos with us. Angie you are so very lucky to be able to look at and look after his things. Can't wait to see more xx
Angie, I'm so jealous. There is no way I will ever get to Graceland from here in England, did go to the O2 for both Elvis exhibitions, which I loved so am loving what your showing us,please don't ever stop.💗😊🥇

Hi Angie, I have a question that none of the museum employees could answer about the TCB ring, I was visiting 2 years ago this month actually, the ring was on display during my visit. I've been in the jewelry business for 20 years, Im absolutely positive the solitare wasn't a diamond, it looked like Zirconium but most certainly wasn't real. One of the employees indicated they weren't even allowed to talk about it. Any story as to where the solitare is? I took several photos of the ring, showed it to colleagues in the business longer than myself and they all agreed the solitare wasn't real.
Will - Google Lowell Hays, Elvis’s jeweler, explaining what happened. Ginger Alden has the original solitaire stone that was in the TCB ring. Elvis wanted to give her a ring with a large diamond, but none were available on a short notice. Lowell came up with the idea of taking the stone out of the TCB for Ginger’s ring with plans to later replace it. That never happened and it now has a CZ in it.
The original diamond from the TCB ring was taken out and placed in the engagement ring Elvis have to Ginger. So she has it. His jeweler shared a story in an interview how that came about but he pretty much said Elvis called in in the middle of the night asking his jeweler to make a ring and wanted a large diamond. His jeweler told him he couldn’t do it because he wouldn’t be able to get his hands on a diamond the size Elvis wanted as fast as he wanted it by. So Elvis told Him he would find someone else and got off the phone. He then called the jeweler back and they decided to use the diamond from his TCB ring. After that the jeweler places a CZ in the TCB Ring but I think it was supposed to be temporary but it never got changed.
The sunglass frames are from a company called Neostyle. I own an older pair. Neostyle Germany custom made the 14k frames themselves and any lens work or TCB logo customizing was done by Dennis Roberts. They were and still are a very high end boutique pair of sunglasses that were mainly mostly just available in California and were very popular with celebrities. I do believe Dennis had more of a hand in custom making the oval style aviators Elvis wore... But I've heard several stories about the incarnation of those glasses.
Angie, I enjoy your videos cery much. Iwould know everything about Elvis, I love him so much!. could you kindly tell me who first had the idea about Elvis wearing Jumpsuits? Thank you in advance,
It was Elvis and Bill Belew the first jumpsuit it was like one of his karate outfits so he could move around the stage easier. Then later, the designer Bill Belew started to make the jumpsuits more flashier
Is it true that the solitary diamond on the TCB ring was switched for a CZ, because Elvis wanted to give Ginger an engagement ring with a large stone, the jeweler didnt have one at that moment, so Elvis didnt want to wait and took out the one from his ring, and switched it with a CZ. I am not saying its a fact, just something I heard.
Read the same account in many publications. Ginger also confirmed the story. The real diamond centrepiece is with Ginger, while Zircon adorns the famous TCB ring at Graceland!
MrMikepresley I have always wondered myself since Elvis’s cousin Billy and wife Jo imply not everything Ginger said was true. They are on the “Memphis Mafia Kid”!channel with their son Danny.
Elvis TCB ring the diamond wasn't replaced its actually a ZC stone, the real diamond was removed as elvis wanted that same size carrot of diamond for gingers engagement ring but his jeweller didn't have one that size and elvis wanted it the very next day, so the jeweller suggested using elvis TCB ring and swapping out the diamond and put a ZC in there instead, his jeweller says it was never replaced due too elvis passing away, still a very cool ring,
I had heard this, I was in the Jewelry business for almost 20 years, when I saw the ring on display 2 years ago, I knew the solitare in it wasn't real. But had forgotten about Elvis giving it to ginger.. When I asked the museum employees about the solitare they clammed up and wouldn't talk!
I believe you are wrong....the 11.5 carat diamond went into Ginger’s engagement ring. Elvis never replaced the cubic zirconia. So, you cannot claim the centre stone to be 11.5 carats.
Hello from England When there is so much "stuff" even when its marked up you need to go through it all every once in a while and it would make you think back to when Elvis would wear or use the jewellery and all the other items that he amassed over his short life. Elvis died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I have been a fan for 44 years and he was and STILL IS my HERO. Yes this is a strong word to us BUT ITS TRUE.
Loyal Hays, ELVIS'S jeweler, who made the TCB⚡⚡ring, confirmed that in a interview, that the 11.5 carat diamond was removed, to use in the design and making of GINGER'S engagement ring. Mr. Hays said ELVIS'S TCB ⚡⚡ ring was replaced with a CZ stone.
@@donnap587 I guess she never got a bid when she tried to auction it with a estimated value between 400-500k! Cant say as I didnt find any records for a final sale or bid!
@@donnap587 Ask her if she still has the 11.5ct Solitare out of the TCB ring that Elvis gave her on January 26, 1977 as an engagement ring? That's right from Lowell Hayes, Elvis's jeweler and the guy who made the TCB ring.
The TCB ring that Lowell Hays sells looks nice, it is a lot better than what other businesses are passing off. My question concerns the claim, since it comes with the "certificate of authenticity" card from Lowell claiming that his replica is the original size and from original molds; when his replica is smaller and different when compared to the original TCB ring made for Elvis. This video from Graceland archives demonstrates this best. When the lady holds Elvis' original TCB ring up to the camera. Elvis' ring is wider and the lightening bolts are different than what Lowell Hays is selling now.
Wasn't Elvis farsighted since he wore reading glasses? Or was he both far and nearsighted? So the diamond in his TCB ring was replaced after the original one was used in an engagement ring for Ginger? Wow Elvis loved his bling.
yes in a interview Hayes the original maker said they used the big diamond to make a engagement ring for Ginger,,, that a CV was put in its place and they planned on replacing the diamond later,,, but never did
