His backrooms one is pretty similar. These are my favourite type of playlists. Klaus Schulze is an artist that makes similar music to the ones in the playlist.
Geiger's aesthetic is one of the main reasons the ALIEN alien is more disturbing than a lot of other movie monsters. That spaceship, and the Engineer and the planet they find it on . . . Chills . . . So evil-looking and beyond human knowledge.
Man i truly enjoy your playlists, i usually play them at night when im taking a midnight walk, it makes me calm down and relax or sometimes when im studying and need a relaxing environment or even when i wake up super early and eat my breakfast, it’s like your playlists are free therapy to me.
@@christine46616 if you cant protect yourself then you cant protect others hence others cant protect you because people feel unsafe and cant protect themselves.
I remember when I was watching Alien: Covenant and in one scene there were these tall, poplar looking trees amongst the cliffs and it felt so familiar somehow. After a while I realised that it was this painting that it reminded me of. I thought this couldn't be a coincidence so I looked it up and Ridley Scott really put that scene into the movie. I guess it was both part of the films iconography and a tribute to Giger's work.
Hello nobody I really appreciate and admire what you do in a way I can't describe So i have some ideas for videos: - a playlist for when you're lost in your thoughts - you're looking at the starry sky thinking about all the people who are perhaps doing the same at that moment - when life start to feel like René Magritte's paintings -you found the book with all the answers to your essentialist questions and it was empty -when you feel to cry and don't know why
Thank you so much for this vibe on this 95 degree day, it's exactly what I need. All the lights in our place are turned off by choice. Giger is such an inspiration. I open the gates to the Underworlds and descend to my slumber, hibernating, thriving.
I find his art work kind of comforting in a disturbingly tranquil sense. It's a bit odd perhaps but I've always gravitated towards liminal spaces myself, It's like I crave an otherworldly sense of peace from the often confusing chaos of this one. I can't be the only one.
It's a brilliant playlist video inspired by Giger. Not to mention 10 years since his untimely death. For everyone here and Nobody, I recommend watching Dark Star: HR Giger's World, a biographic documentary about the late Swiss artist who created dark demonic artwork known as Biomechanical, his tragic lovelife that inspired 2 paintings, and his rise to stardom in Hollywood with the 1st Alien film.
I am strange to myself and to everyone. I run away to my solitude... or I flee into the arms of my beloved’s words... but there is something that always frightens me... I want to be liberated, but where is the path to in this darkness called absurdity?
I love you. Giger is one of my favorite artists. I just got a Giger-inspired sleeve on my forearm. To anyone listening- we are all ghosts living in a bacon computer piloting a bone mech with meat armor. Let's get fuckin weird. 🤘💀🖤💀🤘
Scorn used gigers art amazingly , it had its own problems in gameplay but in other aspects like music or art it was a masterpiece, it should have received more love Your videos are amazing ❤
Omg I'd love to see more art inspired playlists! Especially since this is my favourite style of art and I've just got to know about another great artist thanks to your playlist ^^ If anyone's interested in surreal/dystopian/post-apocalyptic art, you should check out Zdzisław Beksiński - his style is more colorful than Giger's but there is a similiar vibe to it
Nobody made a Beksiński playlist some time ago, I think you´ll really like it! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O2DkRa13qQ8.htmlsi=TFXn8o_oyxkJ91YP
Hans Ruedi Giger was a Swiss artist best known for his airbrushed images that blended human physiques with machines, an art style known as "biomechanical". Giger later abandoned airbrush for pastels, markers and ink. - Just in case people were like who is that?
Just what I was looking for, thank you! 1:22 holy snap! That's it! That's the song! I listened to that on accident while on a an intense pshychadelic trip, big mistake, I went into THE VOID
sometimes i think about the fact that much of h.r. giger's art is because he got spitroasted by two trans women while on acid and spent years trying to articulate how that felt, resulting in his art intentionally being erotic horror
Can you do You just fought in a underground fight club and now your in the bathtub sipping whisky and tending to your wounds Playlist please? Fight club/tyler durden inspired 🙏
You need Christ.. He is the truth and the way.. I will never forget the first time I prayed at the beginning of this year and i felt a love that Is beyond human. He waits for you his child.
Freud and Jung would love to analyze H.R. Giger and Beksinski. I would say they were horny, disturbed and civilized. But maybe someone has some good dirt on their character to help me change my mind 😂
Hello nobody I am nothing. I once had a horse he to had no name. Well nobody is a name, but to called nothing that is my 😢 .. well I'm here because I have One Big hole in my heart. And she has a name that by any other would smell as sweet and my lady does. I hope and pray she is as she says.. not involved so soon.
